GAZ AA, a copy of a Ford AA. The tragedy of Leningrad was the fact that Stalin forbade the evacuation of the city, just as with Stalingrad. Human life has always been worthless for the Moscovites.
Nice that you enjoyed the Finnish cabin-life. You should do a longer trip to the Nordic countries sometime, I know hotels etc are expensive but you probably have a lot of followers in Finland, Sweden and Norway that happily would accomodate you in their cabins, like Heikki did!

The cabin area was perfect and so nice to enjoy the peacefulness of the nature there. Really cool. The owner was so kind. I saw that you were on the reserve when you reached Tallinn. It was a wise thing to refuel in Tallinn because of the cheaper fuel prices. Another great Episode. Cheers. Take care.

I travel around on a bike and sometimes stay with friends for a bit .. and the rule I follow is to ask them for some kind of work if I'm staying for more than a night. Almost everyone has something that they need done or need help with. Especially if you know things from the building trades or fixing machines or landscaping etc.

Thank you for showing us these places and people in a light which many of us would not get to see. That last Russian group was an interesting bunch - are they a motorcycle club that's sort of like a church, or a church group who are into motorcycles and local history? Do they often host foreign bikers passing through?
They are one of the locals clubs "OST" and their lieder is pastor.

What an amazing trip this must have been. So many bikers and nice weather at least in Russia... I would love to visit all those Historical sites in Russia. Hopefully it can be possible to do in some years to come. Had plans to go to St Petersburg again, but then the world got crazy and nothing was possible to do anymore 😢
