I am getting my 52 year old, bobbed triumph ready for a big trip. No electronics, kick start only, one carb. Simple tech I have been using since the 1970’s.

I live in Washington State but my heart still lives in Colorado where I was born. Went to school in Gunnison. Every summer i ride to Gunnyville on my Victory. Just for fun i am going to take my 1200 XLC this summer. You have inspired me. God bless!😊

  • @stevenflauding9010

Rev the bike and put your hand on the gas cap and see if your noise goes away- Lefty (Under the Blood M/M)

I have a1999 883 Sportster.l have had my Sportster for 25 years and 400,000+ miles on the original engine and 37 back tires and 18 front tires and 3 belts in 25 years. EVOLUTION motorcycles last forever. Just did fork seals ,front brakes, and a new front tire. Sportsters are a bike unto themselves and not a gateway to big twin ownership.

Next time I suggest zip ties.

  • @neilstern7108

All I can say is harley sportsters are reliable got to maintain. Heck lots of vibrations. And the fact HD didn't charge you is a miracle

  • @majorlifts

My favorite bike ever made, early sportsters, I had an 883 Hugger and it was my favorite bike I ever owned, lost it during the pandemic because we needed food and winter coats and boots. One day I will be back on a sporty. God bless you and protect you.

Praise God! Looks like a great trip. I’m on a ‘97 Sportster. Keep Jesus Christ close always!

My 1st Harley was a 1986 883 I bought used 2 days out of the Army infantry. Rode that bike all over the US, many many states. Have had 9 HDs...just sold off my M8 Limited bagger last year after a 2500 mile trip on it...I got to thinking on that trip I missed a slim, light, agile Sportster! I got an old evo sportster and a wad of cash for my Limited...very, very happy. After 40+ years of riding bigger HDs...the Sportster has returned my joy of pure simple riding.

    Thanks for sharing your adventure.

  • @kamandir62

Beautifull bike. Those sportsters from the beginning of 90 are most beautifull.

Just found this video, and 1 minute into it... Subbed when I starting hearing the Word of God being referenced. Will watch to the end now. May be in sections at a time though.

  • @robertchorley7640

Great vid, enjoyed it, good safe trip. The praise didnt bother me one bit like it did others. I keep my faith to myself, but theres nothing wrong with expressing it 😊
