Thank you for saying this. I am Canadian, and all I'm hearing from Canadians is how proud they are of Celine. It's a great accomplishment for her, however I question why it wasn't a French artist given the opportunity. Personally, I prefer hearing and watching the talent of the host country. It gives them an opportunity to be introduced to a new crowd, and us an opportunity to expand our horizons hearing/watching the best of the best from that country. I will check out "Gojira" as mentioned in this thread.

All musical performances were live Edit : Lady Gaga was not Live, as it was going to rain, for safety reasons, they started filming Lady Gaga when the first visitors started to arrive, so a little before the ceremony. Maybe they rushed just before the ceremony starts, that's why we could see a guy fell during her performance and they kept video despite this incident. Apart from that I believe that all the performances were live.
