These trackers are so neat . I've been thinking about getting a tracker for myself and the MSM one has been high on my list for a while. This was a great little overview of it. Thanks!
I just got this tracker and this would be my first tracking experience. One thing that nobody seems to mention anywhere is how to know if this tracker is really working/rotating after you have set it to the 'N' position? I don't see any visible physical rotation on the tracker. Secondly, with laser alignment, what is the typical expectation here? That the laser line would meet with Polaris in the heavens? Do people see the line go and touch the star when they say that they are aligned with Polaris? The whole laser alignment concept is a bit confusing.
Great vid and info Spencer. I have just bought the MSM Nomad but not had chance to use it yet as weather here in UK is nothing but rain....standard 😂 But skies are clearing so this defiantly gives me some settings to work with now thanks
Good video Spencer, keep them going.

excellent video thank you, going out next week in Central Oregon for my first Milky way shoot with Move shoot
Very nice, thank you. I bought one a few weeks ago and hope to try it out next week in West Texas, weather permitting.
Good luck!

N and S for northern and southern hemispheres… but the laser thing is a little iffy, I need to try the polar scope

Nice ❤👍
Interesting and informative :)
It's very black, Spencer. If you're doing this as a record for yourself, then it probably meets your needs.
