My current wierd little rabbit hole is everything I've read since the end of last month has taken place between 1194 and 1347, Im Currently reading Between Two Fires by Christopher Buehlman it's a horror set in 1347 during the black death and has plenty of angels and demons but i am finding it a bit too long. Next up I have The Familiars by Stacy Halls which is set during the witch trials in the space year of 1612. Based on that comment I'm sure you'll be shocked to hear yes I have read Candide, not bad but quite repetive.
thanks for the roundup
Immediate thumbs up for the Voltaire joke
@@Summalogicae I had a feeling my people would like that one.
