Not related to this post, I just wanted to tell you I tried your trick of folding the USPS flat rate envelope into a box shape. it worked! I got 3 plus size tops in it doing this and my post office clerk was impressed! I live in a small town, pretty laid back, it's going from CA to PA., curious to see how it's received by other carriers across the states! Thanks for the info!
Hi there, great video. But, I need help. I tried calling into their support line to no avail. I've used 3 thermal printers now and recently just picked this one up because I was sold on the ad I saw. Now however, when trying to print not for nothing is the size 4"x6" coming up when i choose the printer. What am I doing wrong? It's only showing me for a 1.25" label size and nothing else. I am using a Mac, yes I downloaded the MacOS drivers.
Yes, this model is the ZSB-DP14 and it will use any of the Zebra 4-inch, 2-inch and 1-inch cartridges. It's pretty flexible for printing whatever size label you would need.
@@thecollegepicker Thanks for your response. I was told recently that the Bixolon SRP-770III can be compatible with Chromebooks using your driver from the Zebra LP2844 video. Have you ever experimented with Bixolon printers?
I tried to register and it said I already have an account put I. username password wrong one or both wrong tried reset password and said reset error an won't let reset cuz it doesn't recognize the username, I definitely didn't register yet sooo....anybody any thoughts what to do? Gave me a number to call but it's definitely not a US number, also when I turned mine on, someone gave it to me had to replace battery but I didn't get a scan code print if that matters i apparently have the zebra QLn320, i imagine its an older model
Once you do the initial setup that was shown in the video, and your printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network, then you can visit the workspace in a web browser on as many phones or tablets or computers as you want! It's pretty cool.
So there is this new printer that came out and the company claims it can print from Windows, Mac, iOS and Android using Wi-Fi (unfortunately not Bluetooth). It is called "FreeX Wi-Fi Thermal Printer." Maybe you should check that out.
@@thecollegepicker Oh nice lol so you already ordered it! On the side note a bought the Brother TD-4750TNWB which is the thermal transfer version of the TD-4550DNWB. I'd like to print barcode labels that last longer than direct thermal labels. It just arrived today so wish me luck setting it up! I still need to buy thermal transfer label rolls and the resin ribbons...
OMFG.... I wish I would have watched this before I bought it... WHAT PRODUCT OWNER SAYS "HEY LETS DESIGN A PRINTER WITH A PROPRIETARY LABEL AND THEN!!!! LETS MAKE IT NOT WORK FROM A MOBILE DEVICE!!! WHAT IN THE ACTUAL HECK- Im asking for my money back this is crap"
The printer is trash, yeah you can use your phone but you need a pc first to send the label to your phone and then send the label to the printer from the phone absolute time waste.
complete anti consumer trash. Why do I need to login to an app just to print a label? I should be able to install the driver plugin on my android phone and print that way, but of course not.
Can you recommend a thermal print that I can print on round labels as well? Thank you!
great video. I wanted to know can I print UPS shipping labels from a manufacturer's customer returns, mainly amazon return label?

May you share the folding steps?, I'm curious. Thank you
Thankful I watched this video. I wanted the perk of being able to design and print from my phone.
Any printer that does design/print from phone?
Thank you 🙏🏼 this helped me a lot
It was very easy to understand the way you explained it
I am so glad I found this video, about to place my order…thank you, sir 💜
Did you end up liking this thermal printer? The replacement labels seemed too expensive to me.
Best step-by-step vid. Thanks bro! Keep it up. Subscribed

whats the advantage to the 4inch over the 2 inch?
You can print wider labels.
@@thecollegepicker i didn’t even realize Shopify gave the option to print different sized labels
Hello. Will this print smaller labels as well? 2 inches cartridges?
Yes, this model is the ZSB-DP14 and it will use any of the Zebra 4-inch, 2-inch and 1-inch cartridges. It's pretty flexible for printing whatever size label you would need.
Hi! Thanks for the great info. I'm sure you know that this question was forthcoming - Is this printer also compatible with Chromebook?
These are not advertised as compatible with Chromebook.

Wow that one must have been pricey! Ribbon Transfer printers are usually 🤑🤑
Mine is stuck on the registration screen

Yeah the workflow is not ideal for most cases.
