I could tell the boy in the Red hadn't been in the gym that long. It was probably his first match, where as the guy in the Blue had more experience.. It used to be when I was boxing, that if you had 10 fights or under you were a novice,(matched with other novices)anymore you were in the open division -fight anyone with over 10 matches. The boy in the red is a starting novice and showed a lot of heart,he will improve with gym time . The boy in the Blue is close to going open and has had more time to learn. Good going for both guys. I don't know where these 20 not likes come from, but you know nothing about the fight game!
novice fighters in the US at least is 10 and under fights. They may have both been novice fighters. still can be deceiving depending on training and amount of sparring
I watched this video about 9 months ago when I first started boxing. I watched it again and I’m noticing so much more, all the little movements and feints. I’m happy I’ve progressed so much
Good call on the coach Man rough experience dude I’d have cried the moment I got to the locker room I’m just being real To lose a 1st fight by Ko would snap a man’s heart in half He ain’t have to do him like that
@@Oldmanpennyfit How long were you in the gym before your debut ?You got good fast hands and a bit of natural talent, would have been interesting to see how you got on if you started as a kid.
I began training at 18 years old and fell in love straight away. There was two coaches but only one was regular. I was there for years waiting for a fight but he was only interested in the other two young lads who trained. I then moved gyms and this was my first fight at the Welsh Novices (less than 10 bouts)
@@Oldmanpennyfit I hope you keep at it and now have a coach that can develop the talent you have Gareth, you have a good style to watch as well. Best of luck in the future.
Congrats to both fighters. I remember my first fight, I was pins and needles all over because I was so damn nervous lol It takes a lot to get into a ring. Win or lose respect to both fighters.
I did amateur boxing when I was younger and had won most of my fights. But NOT ONCE! Had I ever sent a punch like that, well done mate you should be proud
Good job to the guy in blue. I like how after the first knockdown he kept his composure and countered him for the technical knockout. If the uploader is the fighter in blue, keep up the good work man!
That first knock down was always coming, the guy in red was open to anything over the top in a counter but the second should be given some credit, the guy in blue throws a lovely shot, tight & on the money. Quality.
Wow! Very, very impressive! Your opponent was just completely outmatched! You knew how to sneak through his guard and timed your power shots! You had him confused with the distance; the jab and move as well as your speed. Overall masterful!
I see this a lot in the Amateur events i attend. Guy in red has less than 20 rounds of sparring under his belt. My boxing gym refused to let me fight in my first Amateur bout until i put in 100 rounds of sparring. I sparred with the guys in my gym for an entire year before they allowed me to fight. Thats why you should never jump into your first Amateur fight unprepared, you could get someone like me who is 0-0 on record but actually fights like a 30-5. There are a few guys at my gym who are 0-0 on record and fight like they're a 100 fight seasoned amateur.
Blue guy knows his stuff. Pressure, Bobbing and weaving, constantly moving around, Countering ( No shit ), Seizing opportunities ( First knock out when the red guy dropped his guard ). I could learn alot from him.
first of all right from the get go i did not like the long reaching jabs by blue, really thought he was gonna take the short straw, however well done knockouts i like how you worked the body up into the chin, Nice
red was just sitting in front not really stepping much.. blue has some talent I think he fought a good fight, varied combos, nice footwork and proved to punch hard as well.. keep up the good work!
Great camera work just like you were there! That ring tho probably one of the smallest I've ever seen for competition. I'm pretty sure the ring at my old gym for sparring is bigger or about the same .
From the offset you could see the guy in stripes had a very slow jab and left his hand far too low when pulled back to guard, he was asking for that 1st right hand, he was wide open. After the 1st knock down he should have felt his way back in but instead he tried a 3 punch combo, jab, cross, left uppercut and was caught with a great right hand counter. You cant just go in swinging like a madman, you will get sparked out. The guy in blue had good rhythm and timing to his punches, good work.
So many boxing experts lol. You can see by his footwork that he is. It was probably his first fight too so he hadn't rhythm yet, good reactions and was too nervous.
That doesn't have to be truth. He could actually trained less, it's not about how long haev you been training. It's about hard work and talent. I was ready for my first fight after just one month and on the other hand some guys aren't ready and can't even throw punches with right technique after half year,
Mat.Mik Ready after one month? You must have jumped straight to sparring which can be bad for people who don't take to it immediately. My gym spends 3 months teaching you the fundamentals then starts you with different types of sparring every session after that, seems like a better way to learn. You would be very prepared for your first fight after 9 months, 6/7 months absolute minimum, and that's only if you're in exceptionally good shape and have worked your ass off to become competent.
the guy in blue knows how to box, see how he kept moving his whole body the whole time and the guy in the red was just standing in front of him the whole time, when you just stand waiting to hit your opponent they can see what you are about to do way easier, if you are constantly moving it makes it harder for them to predict what you're gona do, and there is no way you can get hit if you are blocking, you must stay on top of yourself making sure you always got your hands up ready to block a hit
could see that lead hand getting lower and lower then...Wham right hand came right over it poor bastard didn't even see it especially the second time that was sharp really well timed.
i did kickboxing from 7-11 then quit, started it again when i was around 14-15, did 2 ring fights.. first was only a demo with a friend ( last second offer ), second was meant to be with some guy, never turned up.so instead i got told i could do a demo but with an older heavier guy. got in the ring, the other dude was an instructor and build like a brick shit house.. then the REF says its full contact.,quickest fight ive had. first round T.K.O.i quit after..would love to start again though
Wait..."Speed"? I'm about to start boxing so I decided to watch some amateur matches, and I did notice that their head movement was awesome, but I thought the "timing" was just luck and they looked really slow to me. Maybe it just seemed like that to my untrained eye?
The guy in the red needs to keep his hands up and his elbows in. He completely left himself open for that first face shot he got. I would of taken that shot too, his left hand was too low and he left himself open. The blue guy is actually really good.
I could tell the boy in the Red hadn't been in the gym that long. It was probably his first match, where as the guy in the Blue had more experience..

it still is like that.
Musa Mberwa
Thanks for the info.
novice fighters in the US at least is 10 and under fights. They may have both been novice fighters. still can be deceiving depending on training and amount of sparring
Doesn't the title say it's his debut?
this isn’t his first fight as first amateur boxing fights are called skills bouts. being an amateur myself
I watched this video about 9 months ago when I first started boxing. I watched it again and I’m noticing so much more, all the little movements and feints. I’m happy I’ve progressed so much
Nice Overhand Right! Well played
All the best to the other guy too!
Takes a lot of bottle to get in there!
Literally 😂 some of the best fighters always drink.. including Bruce Lee
Good call on the coach
Man rough experience dude
I’d have cried the moment I got to the locker room
I’m just being real
To lose a 1st fight by Ko would snap a man’s heart in half
He ain’t have to do him like that
Especially when you got your loved ones watching
So many expert boxers comment on RUclips videos.
Lol yeahh
Took the ref 18 seconds to get to the count of 8
lmao
Just Sayin-Boxing cuz the one in blue didn't go to a corner and made his opponent take a longer recovery
you don't know how to box
you don't know how to box
you don't know how to box
That second K.O was a beauty, watch it in slow mo . Well done !
Thank you pal! Ref had to get in the way also💪

his chin was in the air as if he was bird watching
Hahaha, brilliant
Shogun amateur debut hes not gonna be world class in his first ever fight is he
Innit
that was a good knockout , the guy in the blue is a good boxer
Not as good as he thinks he is i reckon
total mismatch
Music Music They’re both amateurs
Jordan Laumatia Drabble Naw He’s a good amateur
El nico he isn’t the other guy was shit, did you not see how the guy in blue move and throw he was fucking useless aswell
I did amateur boxing when I was younger and had won most of my fights. But NOT ONCE! Had I ever sent a punch like that, well done mate you should be proud
Man, you are good! Seems like this comes natural to you and also I love that you use jabs to the body.
Good job to the guy in blue. I like how after the first knockdown he kept his composure and countered him for the technical knockout. If the uploader is the fighter in blue, keep up the good work man!
Guy in the red left his face open all day. Beautiful overhand right!
2:02
Dropping his left like he was asking for that right hand. I wonder what went through his mind at that moment.
what a good movement from the blue corner
Tryss

Siick! Respect for both of these guys!
Great job mate.... I am hoping to get my first fight soon, hopefully I can end it as well as you did! XD
The red side boxer looks like he's new. Maybe had less sparring and/or fights
I am 80 kgs and these blokes look a lot bigger than me...... well conditioned for amateurs.
Thansk for uploading
WHERE was this fight filmed? Is it Cwmfelin in Swansea?
Really great boxing, and you seem like a nice bloke. Keep it up!
damn...he went out and got that huge "deadly right" tattoo for nothing.....oh well live an learn.
first of all right from the get go i did not like the long reaching jabs by blue, really thought he was gonna take the short straw, however well done knockouts i like how you worked the body up into the chin, Nice
If you guys didn't notice it does say amateur boxing debut. big upz to both fighters. solid knockout bro. keep it up!
That Second Knockdown though🔥
I like how the people talking are the people I love
Wat
awesome! specially for first fight! pretty amazing how you stay so relaxed in first fight.
red was just sitting in front not really stepping much.. blue has some talent I think he fought a good fight, varied combos, nice footwork and proved to punch hard as well.. keep up the good work!

i like the jabs to the body set it up
Good shit hell of a knock down 👊
@BRIDGENDAUDIO nice im going to have my first amateur boxing fight coming up in may, i hope i feel that relaxed.
Where are u from, guys? East Europe? The level is great to an amateur fight.
The red guy though he was going to play soccer... and Fuck, he got in a ring!
Absolute beauty of a shot
dude in blue has so much potential. i hope he is still boxing

That was nice. Guy in the blue was fast for a big guy.
Nice man superb knockout :D
¡Those huge right swings are lethal!.
C'mon the guy in red is not trained at all
So many boxing experts lol. You can see by his footwork that he is. It was probably his first fight too so he hadn't rhythm yet, good reactions and was too nervous.
He was trained. The other guy had better rythm and more confidence, probably trained longer.

Gene Wilder he needs to fire his coach.
Where did they do this? The Mall?
Overhand rights, nice work. But those shorts look like you have a nappie on. I used to wear them too. haha. Keep training hard! From oz
Ahhhhhhh! That was a nuts punch mate!
what a punch ! really fast for a big man one two lights out :O
Nice haymaker, great timing
Beautiful overhand right! Hope your career works out for you :)
Was red watching the lights the whole fight or something?! Chin flying high as hell!
Very nice finish though.
i was just gonna say right hook behind that jab beautiful
nice right hand!
lol 2:44 "yeah u got knocked out, i'm sorry, now drink water and everything will be fine"
Not going to lie thought it would be a body shot nice good job man
@RichBuuuuuuuurch How did it go? Because i've been training for 2 years now and i haven't started to get matches only training everyday.
That hook was slow but effective😂😂
That's a debut? Fuck me! That was fantastic!
The bloke in red was shocking he just looks weird when he boxes as well idk how he was havin fights so quick
Great fight, my friend. Keep on going!
Gig in blue has a good jab and rhythm the guy in red was not moving enough and had his chin up
Nice jabs to the body
second K.O was gorgeous
The guy in the red was slowly putting his chin out there where blue wanted it on that first knockdown.... dang good movement period by blue
nice foot work and head movement by blue
The first right hand he dropped him with was nice! Set it up with the exaggerated jabs, then bang, wide right hook.
overhand
no the guy just dropped his left hand, stuck his chin out and stood in front him, asking for it.
HE ROCKED THAT FOO!
That was a brutal punch
iv got my first in june.. need to work a lot harder.
Debut? For reals?
That head movement, that speed, that fucking timing... fuck, I should go train.
that guy in the blue was hella quick for bein that big damn
the guy in blue knows how to box, see how he kept moving his whole body the whole time and the guy in the red was just standing in front of him the whole time, when you just stand waiting to hit your opponent they can see what you are about to do way easier, if you are constantly moving it makes it harder for them to predict what you're gona do, and there is no way you can get hit if you are blocking, you must stay on top of yourself making sure you always got your hands up ready to block a hit
Is it the video? Or does the ring look really small?
Everybody is just really big I think. Like upsized.
That was a great punch...twice!
the guy in blue was really good.
Very well timed. Good job lol
jesus christ, what was Red's chin doing ?? up in the air
lol the red guy had his left completely down he was wide open , nice shot
i knew the right hook was gonna get him. 1:20 - 1:22 was a big giveaway
great set up
Good job mate!
could see that lead hand getting lower and lower then...Wham right hand came right over it poor bastard didn't even see it especially the second time that was sharp really well timed.
2:02 He asked for it. Literally
Weight class?
a very nice ko, i would have ko'd him at 1:21 though with a quick right straight. Not taking anything away great victory sir
@dogstripper 75 kg is around middleweight i think.
@vaporfreekicks17 ther only 165 lbs looks like no more that 5'6-8?
Freakin crikey, good punch mate
Poor chap in the red corner appears to have his left in his pocket. Cracking K.O
what weight are these?
mate you seen that coming a mile away your left was down haha
shot from you in the blue tho :P
He telegraphed but man the blue guy just had way more experience,
Pretty stupid for them to be matched up together
good timing, right when he dropped his left hand...
Beautiful
i did kickboxing from 7-11 then quit, started it again when i was around 14-15, did 2 ring fights.. first was only a demo with a friend ( last second offer ), second was meant to be with some guy, never turned up.so instead i got told i could do a demo but with an older heavier guy. got in the ring, the other dude was an instructor and build like a brick shit house.. then the REF says its full contact.,quickest fight ive had. first round T.K.O.i quit after..would love to start again though

Damn, what a KO punch
i want to see more of the guy in blue!!!
The guy in the red needs to keep his hands up and his elbows in. He completely left himself open for that first face shot he got. I would of taken that shot too, his left hand was too low and he left himself open. The blue guy is actually really good.
