      I did the same thing with a box of decks I got last year.
      I made my cat poop it self when I did it.
      He pooped, bolted under the chair, and the growled at a deck on the floor.

    These are gorgeous decks. Even more beautiful than Arbor and more sustainably manufactured. Definitely need to put clear grip tape to show that beautiful craftsmanship. I’d love to own one.

    absolutely perfect. If you look at a skateboard like this, you can't imagine that they are made of pallet wood. Congratulations for the beautiful work. Here in Brazil, I don't know if we have really good people making skateboards as wonderful as yours.

    Just a scratch. Should replace the ankle bone with palletwood. Problem solved...
    No skaters were hurt in the making... hang on, yes there were!

    Tip from a boat maker, sprinkle sand over the wet finish coat, let dry, blow off excess sand for a finish that is mon-slip, yet can see the wood grain beneath the finish coat.

      I used some clear grip tape on some of the boards, that stuff works great and skaters like it because it can be changed out for new when it wears out

    Instead of that glue you should use epoxi resin the same for the finish, instead of marine varnish you should use poliuretane varnish or expoxy resin

    I like adding wood flour to my epoxy to fill in defects. Darker colors like walnut flour work well.

    high sprain. recovering from the exact same injury RIGHT NOW. Mine required surgery, a plate and three screws. Also broke my fibula but that didnt require screws. I did it ollieing up from a bank to a ledge. : | 6 weeks recovery time

    Beautiful work! Any idea what kind of wood the pallet was made of? I think skateboards were traditionally maple. Not sure why.

    Friend a made a skateboard in highschool and it broke in half on the first ollie. You really have to get the right hard wood.. I think skateboards also have something else in between the layers. I had a feeling pallette wood would not hold up.

    Great work! I'm a wood shop teacher, and I make skateboard with my students out of 1/8" birch plywood. Our biggest challenge is having them set properly in the mould. I've never seen or heard of that vacuum-bag method thing. I'd love to know where you got that!

    Paul, I freaking love your videos man! Best part of the day. We just moved into a new house over the last week and I have been dying following the Woby vs. Jackman battle. It definitely gave me some humor breaks during packing and moving the last few weeks.

    Definitely not time consuming!! The labor costs for the process would calculated as a expensive board! But great idea for prolonged woodcraft!

    cool idea but I like pallet nice store hay and straw on. think should try ripe wooden base ball bats into bordes do same thing make a bord. it be just like get bord out log except one end really small. you figure out. ax and hammer handles menaredes sales them . there all desined for bend but not break under hard swing lodes so think make good look bordes.

    Wow - looks like one of the ones I used ages ago. Actually still have it and will give it to my son or daughter if either is ever going to get into skateboarding.
