    These buses are actually used in norway's public transport system for routes that take over 4 hours, pretty neat. I ride them everyday to work and they're a solid 10

    As bus enthusiast and also upcoming driver I appreciate the scenic and informative videos bussmagasinet shares on this channel. I do have a question regarding the Volvo 9700 DD, after having made significant changes to the dashboard and steering wheel, even the I-shift and the new 13 litre engine and improved digital mirrors. I haven’t heard whether the double decker has dynamic steering now. As in previous versions of this model it was not incorporated yet. Has it been incorporated now?

    • @nabhanruwayfi9574
      @nabhanruwayfi9574 2 года назад +1

      Volvo dynamic steering hasn't been incorporated yet. Hydraulic power steering is still doing the job. Moreover, 9700dd is still the same as before except the new d13k engines fitted into it. This is kinda sad tbh...

      @@nabhanruwayfi9574 thanks for answering the question. I went to the site after posting it and found out it is, like you said, unchanged besides the engine. And yes, I had hoped for more improvements too. So for now the VDL Futura FDD2 is still my favourite.

      @@jelle1313 it's setra s531dt in my case. But that's so expensive as far as I'm concerned.

      I’m sorry to say that the DD still hasn’t got the Dynamic Steering. Hope we’ll see it soon! Glad to hear that you’re a upcoming driver and an enthusiast! Keep on 💪🚌

    I like to comment, but I'm not sure if I should comment on the semi modern Volvo. Great video, that's my comment :)

    It’s nice to see that all Volvo buses has now exactly the same steering wheel as in Volvo trucks. This also applies 8900- and 7900-models?
