    A very impressive coach for the South American market, but not suitable for E U countries and I think the 1 door for passengers could well be a safety problem in Europe.

      The 1 door it is a normal thing in Brasil and South America, but like all the bus constructors in here, also it is a changeable bus, you CAN put a second door if the company who buys like.

      For Brazilians, a door that opens on the driver's side is something that only buses have in the last century!
      And as for safety, all of them are equipped with tilt-up windows that come out when you need to get out, as well as roof-mounted exits. Brazilian buses are the best in the world.

    In larger markets there is more focus on lucrativeness with more seats, fortunately in Uruguay we have the best 1800 DD, the companies that travel from the North to the capital of the country (Montevideo) in the South of the country, the majority leave around midnight , to the capital it is a 6 to 7 hour trip, both downstairs and upstairs, the configuration of three individual rows, two lateral and one central, and all seats are beds (like the ones in this report) you manage to reach your destination Well rested to start the day. There are also options from other manufacturers in the region such as Busscar and Comil that are gradually reaching a level of excellence in their products such as Marcopolo. Proud to say that in Latin America we have the best and most comfortable road transport vehicles.

Over here, shorter buses than this one has rear-wheel steering to be able to safely maneuver around roundabouts and tight street turns. Would love to both ride and drive one of these.

    • @leonardosantosdocarmo
      @leonardosantosdocarmo Месяц назад +7

      The vehicle shown in the video is 15m long and due to regulations in the South American market, more specifically the Brazilian market, it is necessary for it to have 4 axles.

    • @rifkyfahrana1141
      @rifkyfahrana1141 Месяц назад +4

      i don't think it's THAT necessary. there's a lot of 15m city buses with 3 axles in South America. but 4 Axles provide better weight distributions in certain cases. in this case, the bus would likely to be loaded near GVWR more often on a longer trips than its 3 axle counterparts.
      it's just to make sure the vehicle is more than capable of handling heavy loads

      @bussmagasinet1  Месяц назад

      Like explained here

    • @stift18
      @stift18 Месяц назад +3

      It is for legal reasons, and for safety as well, because it has 30 ton GVWR, requires 4 axles.

    To say that this is an impressive monster is an understatement. The only limit in how to equip it is your imagination and money clip. Still skeptical about twin steers. Would be neat to see these here in North America. But an ALLISON transmission would be more suitable. Plus a single front axle would be likely be preferred. So, the reason for not being sold in Europe is the width of the vehicle, right? Didn't know about this. Also it is significantly higher than most buses here. We see buses up to 4.1 meters (4 in most cases) whereas this thing has 4.25 if I am not wrong.
    These dimensions are "no go" for regulations I suppose.

    • @Rasscasse
      @Rasscasse 4 дня назад

      As far as I am aware, UK uses the same maximums as EU. The UK did leave the EU but still continues to adhere to many commonalities.
      So 2m55 width and 4m height is the limit for trucks and coaches.
      An exception is made for refrigerated trailers on trucks to allow for the extra width of insulation, but to give the same interior width as a dry trailer.

      The price depends on the configurations chosen by the customer! When configured with all the optional extras and the most expensive equipment, the price for the Brazilian market can reach the equivalent of 4 million reais or approximately 700 thousand dollars.
