I said fuck all that, cut a blocking plate out of steel, drilled 4 holes in it, cut a gasket and screwed the flat piece of steel back on the petcock and called it good... runs and feeds fuel just fine without all that JB Welding shit and drying and waiting...took me 20 mins.
So when you lay your bike down and you're lying there on the side of the road as fuel now flows out the carb vent because you bypassed the safety in the petcock, and some good samaritan stops by and ignites a safety flare... Maybe you will think it would have been worth spending the FUCKING $40 dollars for a new petcock.
JB Weld $4.00, Exacto knife to cut the "Gaskets" $2.50, Time spent 2 hours ( say min. wage $8.00, so $16.00 in time spent) TOTAL Cost of "By Pass" = $22.50 NEW PETCOCK = $24.00 New Diaphragm (original problem to start with) $6.00 to fix it right! 12 minutes of fame on RUclips...PRICELESS!!!
Just use some fuckn rtv silicone for fuel/air parts or some o-ring sealer and that shit needs more time to harden then that especially when you put that diagram seal back on to block the air ! I understand installing it molds the mender correctly packed where it needs to be but theres better ways and it will leak this is never fuel safe wrong material ..... or just dont do this at all theres other bypass methods
Mark Soto they don't breathe anyways. This is just an air suction from the carb to activate the diaphragm. If that line cracks then you have to deal with a lean situation.

Wouldn't buying a new 20 dollar petcock be easier
Of course it is, but were is the fun in that?
landscape dude, turn the fucking phone on its side and then edit that shit down to 3 minutes.

20 bucks for jb weld 20 for a new petcock new screen and all👌
Why not delete that centre plate (with the smaller hole) completely?
So how does this play into the VOES since the vacuum line joints with it? (On my bike at least)
Did you do away the the VOES completely?
I did love the use of the words "precisely" and "fuck up" in the same sentence. Great info and demo thank you!

Rtv no good in gasoline
what do you do with the voes and carb vacuum
Just run the carb vacuum straight to voes.
@@michaelpnellis Thanks for your reply
Привет! Хороший способ! Я просто сделал прокладку из толстой резины)
Take your hyosung tag out .it's not even the same
you ramble
Well fuck
This was indeed an educational video
This is just dumb. All of it.
Thats what weed does.
Wouldn’t removing the V and running voes straight to the carb and using a straight petcock do the same thing?

I guess I’m stupid, but I don’t get it. 00?
Nice! But how does the tank breath for free flow or beak the vacuum when gas cap is closed & sealed.

Mark Soto yes sir on these sportsters theres another breather tube under the tank towards the back.
@@zero9886 I cut that vent line for a different tank swap, and now I'm having myself a nice long lasting no spark issue!!
