Dinosaur Stop Motion Cut Scenes

- Cut scenes for a short I am making using a replica of Harryhausen's design from the Valley of Gwangi. This replica was made by @TREXPRODUCTIONS3190 and was a phenomenal puppet to work with. My upcoming short, Dino Crises, will be about a rag tag their, infiltrating a secret facility for a diamond, but he ends up having a close encounter of the Theropod kind.

@Gomogora534 it's more like the grandson of Gwangi, haha. I had commissioned @TREXPRODUCTIONS3190 to make a replica of Gwangi, but he convinced me to add more accurate details, which can be done easily compared to the time Ray Harryhausen made Gwangi. Back then, he had to paint on scales with latex and let it dry before adding more. Though I still have him dragging his tail vs having it upright as a real Allosaurus would while walking

This is very great, I love the animation and the action you have him doing. He feels very animalistic, I like him biting on that that...um, I'm not sure what it is, that tall box-
But wow, he looks so much more realistic than everything around him x) Which is funny, because normally the opposite is true when it comes to stopmotion creatures. Normally they kind of stick out from the surroundings because they look fake.
Thanks for enjoying it, the backgrounds are made out of clay just for the purpose of making this figure stand out. I did test with realistic sets I constructed and they still looked good, but since the humans will be made out of clay, it all blends better for a cartoonish effect. Stay tuned, in 2 weeks I will have the finished product uploaded. A blend of James Bond style antics mixed with this Dino madness

By the way, dinosaurs like yours DIDN'T CHEW! Their teeth were not designed for it. Rather, like the birds they evolved into, they could only bite, and swallow. Their digestive systems did the rest.
Nitpicking, I know, but that's what fans do.
Aside from that, great animation.
@mikegrossberg8624 we may be changing the name again, I like the idea of having my studio named that, but my colleague always reminds me of copyright law. You're OK in doing your nitpicking. Of course, this video doesn't have the context of these attacks. The Dino is being held I captivity where a 007 style villain plans on selling these dinos on the black market. This poor Dino is being mistreated by its handlers, so definitely not eating vs killing. But other anachronisms will be intentional since this takes place in the Harryhausen universe, let alone the idea that dinos would still be around lends a whole backstory I will relay in a future short. I did commission this figure to be made to look like Gwangi, but with some differences because this would be more like the grandson of the original Gwangi. I will elaborate on lore of this alternate history in another video

Another short is in the works right now, this will be more like Valley of Gwangi 2000, set right at the turn of the 21st century.

I do like suitamation as much as stop motion. I'm a big ultraman fan so always enjoyed seeing the work that goes into the Monsters and sets
@@bluesentaiproductions did you know Merian C. Cooper hated the idea of King Kong being a guy in a gorilla suit? What’d you think of the suit in King Kong vs. Godzilla?
@huntercoleman460 I believe that was only ever optioned when they were going to do the scenes of him climbing the ESE but they still released a publicity promo saying that's how they did it. I wasn't a fan of how Kong looked in vs Godzilla. I would expect better of Tsuburaya's team but it wad rushed into production
