@@EMcmulOfficial thanks, and as long as people still love and admire Ray's work, I'm in the process of getting a crew together, we'll be making a spiritual sequel to the first which will all be in good fun. It will still retain the same title, but we'll make the live action more campy than the serious tone of the original film

@thomastarwater2989 thanks but this will end up only being a practice run. A serious version is in the works where I plan to incorporate live action with the beasts rampage.

@FrederickCAycottJr I appreciate the sentiment but I do love the luxury of making what i want when I feel like it. This will all be fun to look back on before arthritis keeps from making any more. Thanks again and hopefully I will be doing a feature length version next year

@SolimanElshaarawi-be3uq I have decided to stick with clay for now. I can't say these techniques will work with a Dinosaur sculpt but I may still give it a try

@Rick_Hoppe sorry to disappoint, however Ray Harryhausen was paid to animate, I am doing this because i love his work, and enjoy animating to disconnect from my 12 hour work days. Also, with a creature that big, there wouldn't be any weight to picking up a car, as the neck muscles would be stronger than any known creature because it's a fictional dinosaur.

@Gomogora534 it's more like the grandson of Gwangi, haha. I had commissioned @TREXPRODUCTIONS3190 to make a replica of Gwangi, but he convinced me to add more accurate details, which can be done easily compared to the time Ray Harryhausen made Gwangi. Back then, he had to paint on scales with latex and let it dry before adding more. Though I still have him dragging his tail vs having it upright as a real Allosaurus would while walking

@DankBean I may be doing something with Ymir vs Gwangi but as was this model, the other will be fabricated by a professional. I've only ever made 1 silicone puppet and that was enough for me.

@Skatakephalos7434 I'm sorry to disappoint, I was attempting forced perspective, it didn't work out but I am a one man band making these shorts, and I do have bills to pay, so spending money on period cars is not high on my priority list of finances

@Skatakephalos7434 it's alright, I knew it wouldn't look great but I am going to make a serious version of this test footage and only then I will maintain about 1/48 scale as the subway train I will be buying will be O Gauge. Yes, the Beast is a great design. I do feel bad for Ray, though, because he wanted something more humanoid and alien like, but that would evolve into his design for the Ymir.

@@Skatakephalos7434 check out Phil Tippett's "Prehistoric Beast," that's top tier stop motion that was so good, Spielberg had originally hired Phil to do stop motion for Jurassic Park, but then ILM did a CGI test and the rest is history

@1950Grendel it was professionally made by an expert, but we opted to do away with an exact replica and instead do an evolved version of the Rhedosaurus.

@alang.bandala8863 in my script for a 3 part episode, in the end Scorpio ends up adopting Gwangi and plays fetch with him on the beach
