OMG. Fozzy could not have chosen another home that can even touch Hidden Springs! He will repay you with love forever! My heart ❤ swells with joy at his lot in life!
My husband is the same way with building- measure & cut. This is definitely “The House That Jack Built”. At age 72 he is rebuilding his bathroom. Single Gals - you gotta marry a man who’s willing to work around the house. 💪🏼👏🏻🥳😘
You want to add steps at the entrance into this building. Please extend your roof over it to protect your entrance from ice build up on steps. By the way your construction is impressive. Building looks cool!
Yes I should. I didn’t design it that way though. At first I wasn’t having a door there just a door to the future mill area but decided it later. I’ll figure it out though. Cheers.
No ego stroking on this one dude🤣. The goose caboose, the rabbitat, the goose guard house, The Chateau du Poulets, the cat bungalow. You IS a PRO now. Stop panhandling for positive reinforcement 🤣, get on with the job, old man winter is coming and he is a CRANKY SOB 🤣 👍👍👍Thanks for sharing. Take care of yourself 🇨🇦
This is amazing! I wish I could build… period. 😂 I wish I could build stuff from my brain. I have to draw plans, and google plans, and then draw new plans, and then I second guess everything a thousand times.
@@HiddenSpringFarm I suppose we all have our things because I’m sitting here and sewing like I like to do, and I realized when I’m sewing a lot of times I change parts of the pattern and make things up as I go as I picture them in my head! So same thing, different hobby!
Hello Chad, Great Job so far. I think you could use some saw horses when cutting those 4x8 sheets to save your back when bending over. Get some steps installed and then add a little front porch to protect the step's. Can't wait for part 3, Thanks Chad !
I bought a house with a dilapidated shed in the back. Using a lot of reclaimed wood, scraps from the new development behind me, and probably 2 grand of new stuff, I rebuilt the dilapidated shed with the clear story windows. The windows act as an amplifier so I hear a lot of sounds from who knows where. Just subscribed. The size was determined by the three walls I left standing. Gotta leave three walls so it doesn't need a permit.
Thank you so much great video love watching you build the new building. Looks great!! 😊👍✨ Fozzyol'boy keeping you company 🙂 Blessed beyond measure. 👍💜 Until next time. Sending love and support from Florida 🌺💫💫💫
Chad❤ Wooooow....
I love spending my early morning with you! 6am and only 74 degrees F. Phoenix, AZ is cooling down...AND OUR ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS ARE HOT! Beat the Dodgers in 3.
I enjoy watching your homestead develop over time. Maybe you could watch a video on framing out windows and doorways. Looks like you're missing some jack and cripple studs ect.
Appreciate the comment, after looking into it, my cripple studs are tied into the header directly with no Jack studs. so I’ll have to fix it so that they sit on the header which sits on the jacks. Thanks for mentioning it, it would most likely fail the inspection and I’d have to fix it, might as well fix it now so they think I know what I’m doing 😂 Cheers
I love watching u you are so talented to do build from your Thoughts is a great thing my husband does same with electrical he's a jack of all trades in the water, electrical area
I am so impressed by your progress and I love the roof design. I just found your channel and subbed after watching most of the shed build. Small bit of feedback: narrate more of your thought process!
What a great build! I'm loving the design, and you make every build so unique. Even a workshop can look great, haha. I'm wondering, do you have to get building permits each time, would seem a big hassle and you mentioned you don't draw up plans.
Thnx a million. On simple builds the gov is fine using hand drawn sketches with measurements, they still do inspections too. Not everything needs a permit it’s based on size and use.
That is looking amazing Chad. You are doing really great. Building from your vision, that is so cool. It is going too look fantastic when it it done. Love and Blessings to you all. ❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏 Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘

He sounds like a great hubby 👍
My wife accuses me of making a mess upon doing a project; I'm a former 15 yr contractor. Men...be careful who you marry.
Wow, wow, wow 🤩 Great build especially because you do it on your own with only the best techniques👑
That’s how I roll 😆

Haha yes. I’m trying to get it dried in before the real cold comes. I can work on the inside into the winter.
Fozzy Bear….Building Inspector and all-around best bud.
That’s for sure 😂
Love love your Fozzy Bear❤️… He came to visit u at the build…. he loves u soooo much!!!😇
Fizzy is such a cute and lovable kitty 🐱.
Yeah he’s the best, a great friend.
This is amazing! I wish I could build… period. 😂 I wish I could build stuff from my brain. I have to draw plans, and google plans, and then draw new plans, and then I second guess everything a thousand times.
Well I still 2nd guess myself and make mistakes all the time it’s all part of the fun 😆

Good day eh 👋
I love spending my early morning with you! 6am and only 74 degrees F. Phoenix, AZ is cooling down...AND OUR ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS ARE HOT! Beat the Dodgers in 3.
Wow they’re on a roll eh. Our Blue Jays got ousted in 2 games 😂

What a nice workshop.
I’m working on it, I’m sure it’ll do me just fine. Winters coming fast though. Thanks for the comment 😃

Bon jour mes Amis. Tres bien Chad.
Haha merci beaucoup 😉

Awesome! Thank you!
Stack the wood sheets in your front loader bucket lift them all up past the height of the 6 ft side and then unload the woodsheets as you need them
Yeah I could’ve used the forks too, usually an afterthought with me 😆
Have you considered making a barrel stove for heat. kits are pretty cheap
No I didn’t even know that was a thing. Interesting.
👍👍👍😊😉

Exciting eh

❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏 Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘
Aww thanks, I love doing this stuff 😉
Good Lord you sound like my fiance! He is building a workshop too. No plans. He even explains things the same way!lol
Tie the knot with that individual, quickly. lol
I need a Chad at my home!
Aww
look into the Princess Auto Camp Wood stoves. Small in size and no more than 200
Yes I’ve seen some, trouble is I need it to heat 500 sq’. There are tiny Home stoves but they’re just a bit too small. Thanks for the help.
Look for a camping wood stove. Small, inexpensive in the grand picture, and designed for smaller spaces.
I’ve seen some but they’re usually good for a large tent size, under 200 sq’. I’d need something a bit bigger.
At least you’re completed everything yourself without no one’s help, and not one piece of equipment which you are able to use either 🇬🇧🇮🇪.
Yes I love designing and building things, although not a pro but I’ve saved a lot of money on labour over the years doing things for myself. Cheers.
do you happen to have rough dimensions for this workshop??
Yes, I know whatcha sayin.
That ply wood is heavy, I have some and it is heavy!!
yeah it gives me a good workout
If you been my neighbor, I'd helped !
that would've been cool
No Home Depot in Germany 😢 … just rip-off Bau Markts with very limited stock of anything useful.
Those are not trusses. They are rafters.
Yessir, I called them trusses like 50 times lol.
