That pepsi bezel looks fantastic! I just got the teal version of this watch for Christmas, and I am blown away so far. Mine is also very accurate and has been reading the same time as my phone since I began wearing it 4 days ago. It definitely keeps better time than my old Seiko SNZG11. At some point I plan to upgrade the bracelet to a Strapcode Super J, but for now the stock bracelet is just fine.
I'm very happy with this watch as well and it was the Pepsi bezel that sold me. I too was blown away by the accuracy (+1 sec per day) of this watch. I feel the pressed clasp is the only part of this watch that needs improvement. Thanks for your support!
I just received this watch for Christmas. I just love the blue dial and Pepsi bezel. Love the versatility of the style. This is probably going to become my every day watch.
I have three Orient dive watches so yes I would buy them. I don’t see the need to speed more unless I was getting a better product. I have not found better. I like Japanese products.
If this is the Ray 3, then the Ray 2 has a better bracelet, IMO. Not that either of them is renowned for having great bracelets. I have both. The crown on my RA-AA0812L19B (this one) is also harder to screw down. The Pepsi bezel, gorgeous blue dial and sapphire glass are nice touches, though. They make up for the so-so bracelet.
It doesn't need to be given a name: by default it is the Ray III. Because Rays are the ones with the circular indices. Makos are the ones with the stick or numeric indices.
Great looking watch.. very similar to the Kamasu but with rounded lume markers instead of the wedges and rectangles. I'm not sure if the case on your watch is slightly larger than the Kamasu.
Mako 3 is selling by these model names in India RA-AA0821S19B (Ivory), RA-AA0818L19B (Blue), RA-AA0820R19B (Red), RA-AA0819N19B (Grey/Black). The featured model is the Kamasu 2 which was launched just prior to the Mako 3 in India and are almost sold out right now.
Thanks for the release. what do you advise? my Watch Orient Ray 2 took the age of 1.5 years; boo. Everything works, but the power reserve with 8 hours of wear is less than 20 hours, that is, 1/2 of the declared one. Could this be due to the fact that the average maintenance period has come up (the mechanism is clogged) or marriage is an overheated hair of balance? I tried to open the back cover - it looks like it was closed from the factory, and therefore the dirt did not get there. Honestly, I counted on the fact that this is the Orient and for 1.5 years there is nothing for them. Thank you. Sincerely.
Having issues with a 1.5 year old Orient watch is not normal as Orient watches are very reliable. I would contact the merchant you purchased the watch from and ask them what you should do.
I just got the green kamasu today and I loooovvee this watch and now I want this one in the video haha. Those colors look great! Do you still have it? How would you compare how this one looks to the same color scheme for a seiko or citizen because I have a couple of each, but I love how the orient looks
It's an Orient Kamasu 2 or gen 2 Kamasu sold in India as the Kamasu 2 by Orient. I also have that blue Tissot Seastar 1000 Powermatic 80, great watch. recently bought the Orient Mako 3 with an ivory dial.
its basically a kamasu with round hour markers . i have three orient watches excursionist gmt blue dial mako2 pepsi and the kamasu in red all great watches and put a smle to my face everytime i wear them
Nice review. It would be helpful if you listed the model number in either the title or comments. This would enable people to copy and paste to do further research. Good luck with the Channel!

I also have the Bambino and love it! Thanks!
i have ray2. that specs, size and looks definitely very ray2ish, besides the sapphire crystal and bracelet. this the answer for an upgraded ray2.
Thank you for the information. I really like the look of the watch!
Nice SKX replacement with sapphire crystal and hacking capabilities.
Kamasu v2! I have the black/grey dial variation and swapped it onto a Strapcode Super J and it's now perfect in my eyes!
Kamasu v2, I like it!

Thanks for the info, much appreciated!
The code RA-AA0812L19B refers to an Orient Kamasu/Mako III Diver watch....just bought one like this....seems to be very beautiful!
Thank you for the information. Yes, it's a good looking watch and the inhouse movement is very accurate.
Great looking watch.. very similar to the Kamasu but with rounded lume markers instead of the wedges and rectangles. I'm not sure if the case on your watch is slightly larger than the Kamasu.
Thank you, and yes it does look similar to the Kamasu.
If it has a sapphire Crystal ….It is a Kamasu…it’s the Kamasu 2….

Yes, the Tissot Seastar 1000 is a very good watch for the money!
Orient Icon orange bronze green dial looks the best
Congratulations, on a good start.
Thank you very much!

I have three Orient watches and love them all! You can't beat the value you get with an Orient watch!
It's a Kamasu
That seems to be the general consensus. Thanks!

Thank you for the great feedback and support. I have added the reference number to the description.
Is it not a Mako...good luck with the channel.
Possibly, I just wish Orient would give it a name. Thanks for your support!
Is this the new version? Looks better I like round indercies more.
I'm very happy with the watch and it is crazy accurate (+1 sec per day).
Its the new kamasu.
for me it's ray iii model.
Do you also have hard time screwing the crown back to the case?
Yes, the crown guards are a bit large which does making screwing the crown back in more challenging.
You said it's got 200mm of WR lol
Yes my bad. I did not catch that until after post production.
