Hey Oreki,
Hope you are doing well!
MA in Economics degree provide excellent opportunity for a career in banking industry as an economist or pure banker. International and National Economical environment and issues are of huge significance to the work of BFSI sector. Many investment and retail banks employ economics graduates to work specifically as economists. MA Economics graduates with superior Mathematical and Data Analytical background are used for research and analysis of economic data, issues and trends, and use your results to produce reports and forecasts, which will assist the bank's other employees and clients for wealth financial asset management and risk management. In India, RBI, Public Sector Banks and Private Banks are largest employers of economic graduates. It has been found due to lack of career growth as Economist in BFSI Sector, Economics graduates shift to typical pure banker jobs of sector. Pursuing an MBA or MiM or maybe an MBA could help you skyrocket your goal of entering into investment banking.

Hey i am a humanities student without maths. Planning on pursuing BA Eco and CFA as i want to shift to the finance side is that a good idea?
Hey!
I hope you are doing fine 😃.
It's definitely possible to pursue a BA in Economics and CFA without having a background in mathematics. However, it's important to note that the CFA program does involve quantitative analysis and requires a solid understanding of financial mathematics, statistics, and accounting.
If you are willing to put in the effort to learn and develop these skills, then pursuing a career in finance could be a good idea. A BA in Economics will provide you with a solid foundation in macro and microeconomics, which is crucial for understanding financial markets and analyzing financial data.
The CFA program is highly regarded in the finance industry and obtaining a CFA designation can enhance your job prospects and earning potential. However, it is a rigorous program that requires a significant time commitment and dedication to studying.

Can i become investment banker by doing BBA in Finance
Not possible
Bba is helpful for mba finance
Mba is management degree
Bba is just basic one
Hey!
I hope you are doing fine 😃.
A Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on finance can provide a strong foundation for a career in investment banking. Many investment banking roles, such as financial analysts and associates, require a strong understanding of financial markets and financial modeling. A BBA in finance can provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to understand these concepts and apply them in a professional setting.
However, it's important to keep in mind that a BBA degree alone may not be sufficient to land a job as an investment banker. Investment banking is a highly competitive field, and many positions require an advanced degree such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master of Finance (MFin). Additionally, internships and relevant work experience can be crucial to getting a foot in the door in the investment banking industry.
So, it's not guaranteed that you will become an Investment Banker with just a BBA in Finance, but it can provide you with a good foundation and set you on the right path towards your career goal.

You can look upto pursuing an MBA degree if you have atleast 2 years of work experience. Else, if you don't have that amount of work ex, then I would recommend you go for either Master's in Finance of Master's in Management (with a specialisation in Finance). These 3 degrees are perfect to kickstart your investment banking career.
