Thanks. This gave me the right idea. I got an open Abus 145/40 with an unknown combination and I could get the combination by pushing the wheel against the lock. At the correct number I could push it in deeper and I got the combination within a minute. Maybe it was a coincidence but it did the trick

At the true gate the tooth of the bolt is free, so the outside spring can have an effect. That's how it looks inside ruclips.net/video/XWaJmr81M98/видео.html maybe it make things clearer.
theres something weird with my lock. when i put all wheels on an odd number all wheels just bind. 0:44 also when i made the code i just scrambled it and didnt make sure to have the numbers on the line so there was probably some of those groves between the numbers when i made the code. does that break it or something?

3 hours later and 3 fingers black from spinning those numbers. Nothing. My lock behave completely different when I dial the numbers. Just bought it and been stupid enough not to check it before paying for it. Seams like somebody changed the combination and put it back. Going to buy another one, this clip didn't helped me to open it. Exactly the same model. Bad luck I suppose.

This is brilliant. I have a Stanley lock like this and none of the other methods works. I'm going to try this tonight and see if it works. Great open.
It's the first lock that does this, not sure I'd your Stanley behaviors similar. But if the lock can be tensioned like that you will get it open.

Usually you cannot set a number in-between digits. Guess that all your odd numbers are a true or false gate and not no gate.

I cracked code after a few nights l done it keeping my eyes closed and listen to the clicks
Didn’t work, I spent about an hour trying this. In the end I gave up and got the cutters out and sawed through the S,L combi lock.
