    You'd think that after all these years of getting hammered by the locksport community, they would have come up with something not quite so easy to decode. Thanks for the video Al!

    • @AlbertLebel

      Ya it's mind boggling to me. Because they already have the base. They make some very nice strong locks. But they refuse to do anything about the old flaws. I honestly thought this one being a pro series was going to be tough. Heck, it's hard not to feel those grooves, their like holes.

      I figured senty safe would of fixed the issue with those but they are still very easy to open. Just need a rubber mallet and hit the up left corner diagonally while turning at the same time

    Great decoding! ... and very well explained. Yea those master locks are strong shackles, but shame about them being able to be decoded easily.

    • @AlbertLebel
      @AlbertLebel  2 года назад +2

      This is how they roll. Big strong locks advertised as bullet proof with some of the oldest exploits known to man. All I/we can do is try educate people and hope they listen

    Thank you for the great information, I got a new 175 that is like this and my m176 has the flat spots which is actually a gear that turns on the axil and will move out from the dials when resetting the combo

    • @AlbertLebel
      @AlbertLebel  2 года назад +1

      Oh yes, I featured the ML 175 on video 358 and the ML 176 on video 416. Honestly I was thinking being a pro series it was going to be tougher to decode. Turns out it's the easiest. The tool literally just falls in the slot. It's hard not to feel it

      @@AlbertLebel man this video really bummed me out! I have looked at that lock on shelf at store a few times. Have heard pro series was great( compared to others before). Though I won’t let it stop me from getting atleast one their shrouded pads. Think it’s cheapest shrouded shackled lock on market. That and the abus Rock. I think….😂. I will end up getting one one day. Been eye shopping on eBay. Probably getting a gutted (coreless) one. Then adding something a tad better if possible. Fuck odd love to see an assa or even a medico core in one😳🤤🤤🤤🤤

    Appreciate your video as I own two of these locks. I suppose most won’t know how to pick these but … this was too easy and even for me (not a locksmith). Question: what could you recommend for a padlock that has a very strong body, shackle and either quite pick proof or even more convenient, has a very difficult tamperproof resettable numeric code system similar to this Master Lock model.

    • @AlbertLebel
      @AlbertLebel  Год назад +1

      Thanks for checking it out. I’m not a locksmith either so we’re even. That’s a tough question. I highly recommend Abus locks but I can’t remember if they have a resettable combination lock like this off the top of my head. But look at their website. Personally I would avoid Master Lock products unless absolutely necessary.
