To be kinda blunt, I am giving up on investing in stocks... I put between 2000 to 3000 a month and it's nothing but down down.... Sooooo frustrating and I only invest in boring big companies. How can I capitalize in such a market?
What are you investing in? Stop investing in individual stocks where you're just gambling and guessing anyhow and look into index funds. The S&P 500 aka VOO alone is up over 30% in the last year alone. You'd have literally doubled your money in the last 5 years on it alone. People telling you dump it all on one stock are ignorant and setting you up for further failure. There will be a correction and you'll be thinking "x" company has infinite gains when in reality it's a bubble for it and lose a ton. The less experienced folks say silly stuff like that. Smart investors use indexing that outperforms people that have literal doctorate degrees in economics/mathematics etc.
80% stocks 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the s&p 500 as leading indicators predict above 10% rise by this year, my only issue is how to properly allocate a large $5m stock/bond portfolio for substantial gains at minimum risk of inflation.
I believe that diversifying your investments is the safest way to handle it. One way to lessen the effects of a market crisis is to distribute investments over a variety of asset classes, such as international equities, bonds, and real estate. It's critical to look for expert advice.
Accurate asset allocation is crucial, and some individuals use hedging strategies or allocate part of their portfolio to defensive assets for market downturns. Expert guidance is vital for achieving this. This approach has helped me stay financially secure for over five years, yielding nearly $1 million in returns on investments.

Voog is only going to have growth stocks from the S&P 500 so it’s going to be more concentrated than VOO which has both growth and value stocks but VOO has more growth stocks anyway. Voog will be less diversified from a sector standpoint than VOO because of it investing in only pure growth stocks. QQQ and qqqm are the same thing in that they both track the Nasdaq-100 index. they both will have very very similar returns and movements since they are market cap weighted but VTI does include mid and small caps versus VOO only has large caps and since large caps have outperformed small and mid, that’s why VOO has slightly edged out VTI in returns but who knows who’s going to win down the line. I apologize for my ignorance as I’m new to investing. For your small cap combo suggestion, wouldn’t VTI + SCHD be a better strategy? VTI includes basically the whole US market (small cap + S&P 500)? This would combine your suggested Combo 2 and Combo 3 into one. VOO and VTI performance is pretty close if I’m not wrong. Appreciate your response.
The problem with VTI, it's too broad! It covers over 3600 versus being more targeted. Its not ignorance! WE all had to learn somewhere! My COMBO is: VOO, VYM, VGT, and XMMO. It seems that everyone loves SCHD. Perhaps, I don't trust Scwhab as much as I do Vanguard! I would use VTI (I wouldn't get VOO) as a base and go with another ETF that is more targeted like VGT or VYM.

hi my friend! It’s an algorithm switch that varies from time to time but it was implemented back in January 2024. I honestly don’t like it since it publishes to random people first and then after 3 days you get the notification. How I try and beat the system is post a community post announcing my video is uploaded and live so everyone gets notified! Hope this helps :)
I Have VOO + VGT + SMH ❤😍😎
Easy and simple😎
How about IGV ?
This should be in the growth etf category :)
Right now I am only investing in VGT.
Do you plan to branch out or just keep it as VGT ?
