I was just going through your older videos last night lamenting the fact that you hadnt posted in a while! What a blessing. So good to see a new video come up! Hope you are well!
So very happy to see this new video. I know not every YT'r shares what's going on in their personal life, but I hope things are well with you and your family.
If there is anything thing I love more than new content from you ( and I’m sure Im not alone here) , is looking around the barn during this video and thinking “I remember the barn door build” “I remember when he put that flashing around the handles … and I remember when he twisted the handles” “I remember when you weighed your welding table” and I always remember liking every video and looking forward to the next. Glad you’re back for what I hope is a nice long run… ✌🏾
It's refreshing to see a very nice project completed and shared without an abundance of superlatives used to describe it. The project is done, functional and elegant and everybody is happy !
Here's a CNC plasma tip. When you're doing the drawing for your welding tabs leave about a 1/16" strip connecting all your weld tabs. Do them in groups of 10 or whatever. This makes them way easier to fish out of the water and easier to remove the dross. If you do enough in a row they'll be supported by your table slats and won't even fall in the water. You can then just cut them apart with a zip disc in seconds. It works well for me anyway.
Welcome Back, saw the stairs in my feed and thought the work looked familiar. Then saw it was a Rainfall Project. You have been MIA for a while but in the video, I saw in the background a baby stroller, Congratulations are in order? Happy for the both of you. . . Life gets busy, when family grows. Prayers and best wishes to you and your family. Wonderful project, hope you drop in more often.
Man, I can't tell you how good it is to see you putting out videos again! I was afraid some knot head stopped by your house uninvited and ruined it for the rest of us!! Please keep them coming!! Really enjoy watching your builds, in fact, you were a huge inspiration for me to get back out in my shop and get to building things.
As an architect I planned such a staircase laste year. Unfortunately it never came to reality because of the skyrocketing prices over here. Glad to see your finished piece. Thanks for sharing
I could totally imagine a railing that looks exactly like the folded up stairs, on it. Would double the work though, but I imagine it would look great. Awesome vid, and result. Looks great.
I watch Bourbon and love this amazing ladder! Can’t wait to see his version of this but I love the quality and work you put into it. It’s great to see you two team up
Happy to see you posting. I almost unsubscribed two weeks ago, because I thought you quit posting. Then I decided to give it to the end of the year. Glad I waited. Hope the farming is going well too.
Missed you! Enjoy your fab vids, would also like to see more farm vids. Like the folding stairs! If they turned into a down slide, oh well, welcome back.
Cool project for Mr. Moth (I'm not nearly as close with him as you are). Looks great! And no handrail, so Woby Design would approve. Thanks for sharing!
Great project! I'm guessing if one was so inclined, it would be easy to implement a railing as well, and perhaps a handle to avoid pinching the hand, but - it's also possible to just be aware of what you're doing!
Not a project for everyone, as the end user related, he pinched his finger grabbing the wrong section. Maybe a colored handle to safely fold and unfold?
These are more than a railing away from meeting code. No kickplate, that incline looks mighty steep. Beautiful project but terrible stairs. Maybe call it a ladder? Definitely keep kids and lawyers away from it
Oh that would look so nice, either a number of related small paintings, or one large scene that uses the specific angle of the stairs to do something unique.
Hey man, I know you are busy on the farm almost always but you make such great videos. Great to see you back and would love to see more. You’re a hard worker and I admire it and admire you’re craftsmanship
I was about to unsubscribe, but then I thought "let's keep it until New Year, he is active mostly in winter months". I'm really glad I didn't leave as this is my favorite maker channel.
You're back!! I was just thinking of Rainfall Projects yesterday, thinking, you are one of the few accounts that I drop everything to watch, as soon as you post, but you haven't posted in a while. Yay!!
I feel like I just ate a steak dinner. That's how satisfying that was. Great build, welds, cuts, drills, explanation of why (drill press makes hole cleaner), tack weld failure expected and just fine, and overall CLEAN PRECISE PROFESSIONAL. Your voice... so calm it's like you're describing how to take down a nuclear missile but not upset not angry just calm and descriptive. Thank you for making my morning. Also, great ladder/stairs/hideaway-stairs. Ehud in Tucson AZ
Just looked up your page recently hoping maybe I had missed an episode, but nope… I’m excited for this one! Thanks for the new content and I hope you’re doing well!
Holy Mother of RUclips! I have missed your videos for so long. I sent you emails inquiring if everything was alright. This video means I don't have to drive to Oregon and do a ground search for you, I am glad that you are OK and back on RUclips! In the future let your subscribers know if you need a break. THANK YOU, for all the hard work you do making these videos.
Can't tell you how happy I am to see this video.
Same, love this channel
I wish he did a video a week
You and me both
That makes all of us
Can you tell the password to the stair safe? LOL

for sure. 1000% true man
I was just watching your back catalog yesterday winding where you've been. Not, today, this pops up. Awesome

Thanks Danny, I’ve always appreciated your nice comments!

That turned our really nice! I hope the internet doesn't give you all the 'love' Woby got for his folding stairs.
My heart skipped a beat seeing you posted a new video!! We miss you!
Miss you SO much when you’re not around…you’re a master. Great job!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Long time viewer and first time commenter. Glad to see you back, man! The stairs look great!
you could have easily made the video twice as long as other people do, but appreciate you not dragging out unnecessary.
We’ve missed you, your wife, and your dog. Hope everything is going well for you all.
Very Neat. First time I've seen stairs like those. Pretty ingenious. At first glance, it looks like an art installation.

Our supplier also always does this
Great tip
So glad to see you are doing well! I was really missing rainfall projects. Fingers crossed we get more videos in the near future.
This reminds me of Woby Designs folding stairs, but this is more robust with the metalwork. Love It!

Two of my favorite channels. We need a full blown colab between you two! NOW !! Please?
I've been thinking about you these last couple of weeks and that's been a long time since the last video. Good to see you're still kicking.
It was great to see your well planned and executed projects again. It is always fun to watch your videos.
Sooo cool to see the Rainfall Projects barn again!!! Thanks for sharing and Happy Holidays to you and yours!!!
So good to see you back ☺️. The planning and execution here is next level 😮
I hardly watch TV these days because of videos like this. Awesome skills and professional video production.

@@pepperypeppers2755 Had me Laughing about the Kids and Lawyers, How do you tell the difference other than one is in a suit?
Good to see you, brother. I still cherish the plasma cut plaque you made me when you got your cnc
Those are incredible! I love how artsy it looks when its not stairs. Awesome job!
Super happy to see this video! Glad you are back and didn't disappear from the tube
Great to see your video. Always enjoy your fantastic skills and approach to your projects. Look forward to your next video.

OMG.. this is a pleasant surprise.. Good to see your videos again. Hope you took the time off to recharge your batteries, or enjoy family :)
That's it, no word on why it's been so long since you've posted??? JKLOL! Great to have you creating here again. Thanks for the video!!!!!
Oh my goodness! Those are amazing!!! You're a genius. I would buy a house, take out a set of stairs, and put those in because they're so amazing!
Great work big fan of "Bourbsy" now got to check out more of your stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Love it - simplicity and craftsmanship at its finest
So glad to see you back. Hope all is well in your life!

I never comment, but when I see a master at his craft I think it deserves the recognition. Great job!
The stairs look great and I am glad to see you on YT. Hope all is well with you and your family.
Wow! Not only functional but a piece of art?
Great to see you back here! Hope you’ve had a good year! Looking forward to whenever you have time again :)
I was getting real depressed thinking you weren’t making videos anymore. Your very inspiring
Depressed? C'mon!
I assumed they had a baby.
@@Horstelin lol. He’s entertaining I get bored not having no one to watch.
Holy crap! You're not dead!! 😂 So pleased to see you back 🙌
Two of my favourite makers 😃 Great to see a new video from you! 👍
These are the best folding stairs I have seen!
Cant believe it. He is back !
I've literally been googling to make sure you were still around! Glad to see you post
Love seeing new content!
Awesome design. Looks like you need a bigger welding table. :-)
Incredibly clever design and fabrication methodology. Nice that you're posting again!
Really nice project, you could even use the bottom side of the steps as a canvas for some art or photo frames etc.
Oh that would look so nice, either a number of related small paintings, or one large scene that uses the specific angle of the stairs to do something unique.
That was my first thought too. Definitely something I'd do with stairs like that. I think a mountain side landscape would look real nice.
Wow…. There are some really smart people in this world. Cool project and it turned out fantastic!
That is a nice project that looks and works great. You have great welding skills also.
My reason to return to RUclips is here 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Thank you for returning, this is the best Christmas 🎁 ever.
The execution from planning through to final assembly is impressive.
This is a really cool idea and build. That Bourbsy is a good guy, nice to see he has friends.

I love how one of the most replayed moments is when he is typing in his code to the under stairs storage area.
Dude your back! Ive been waiting for this moment for 11 months!
You're back!! I was just thinking of Rainfall Projects yesterday, thinking, you are one of the few accounts that I drop everything to watch, as soon as you post, but you haven't posted in a while. Yay!!

I like the way you used a jig...The jig itself is amazing to me.
The thousand cuts that followed looked like a pile of work. tHanks for the video
Great to see you back, it’s been to long bud, catch you soon 👍👍👌🇮🇪
I was just thinking a few days ago "Seems about time for Rainfall projects to come back" and here you are!
Brilliant!!
I am a little surprised at how much work went into it.
That staircase will last forever.
Well built.
Welcome back. Nice design on the stairs.
Was just checking your channel for a new video last week. Been WAAAY too long. Glad to see you back!!

It's good to see two guys from my state collabing. Especially in two hobbies of mine. Now you should both make a range video too!
