    Cool design and nice execution. The handrail looks pretty flimsy, though. I think I’d put it on the other side where it can be attached more firmly. Thanks for making the plans free! I really enjoy your channel!

    Excellent video and great design. Thanks for taking the time to present this so professionally and to share your ideas with an audience. I feel that some of your subscribers may be missing the point with some of your creations. Many are just show casing design ideas and creativity. We can choose to steal your ideas and creativity to fit our own personal needs. The design and creativity doesn't need to stop with your version of a creation. Given that initial vision, your vision, we are allowed to tweak and improve as we see fit. As for a practical use for these stairs.... I have a very small downstairs closet in one of my bedrooms. In the ceiling of that closet space is an attic access opening. I don't need to go up there very often, just every 3 months to change a furnace filter. I don't need stairs hogging up needed storage space 24x7. I also don't like carrying up a heavy step ladder every time I need to get up there. For the few times I need access, clear a space for the ladder to unfold into and use the permanent folding ladder. Great solution for my specific use. Wonderful.

  • @glennryzebol4472
    @glennryzebol4472 3 года назад +4

    I think your creations are very cool, clever and I totally think your a genius. That said, I would find these stairs impracticle as i would just leave them down all the time. Of course if something is stored beneath the stair that you will need access to relaively often, then they make lots of sense.

    За понятный конструктив лайк!!! А вот про петли надо подумать - автор видео весит кг 70, а я 110. Уж очень страшно ходить, зная что держат меня только петли, причем и слева, и справа. Левую часть достаточно легко усилить, нарастив несущую балку еще на пару листов фанеры и закрепив ступеньки по центру балки на обычные рояльные петли. Тогда при сгибании, ступень будет лежать на несущей опоре. Что делать с правой стороной? Неделю думаю, просматриваю аналогичные видео (а их мало), пришел к выводу - правую сторону надо усиливать металлоконструкциями. Желательно и ступени усилить каркасом из профиля

    TIP: glue the pieces for the stair stringers first. That way you only have two cut out 2 stringers; vs 4.

    반복하중에 괜찮을까요? 왔다갔다 하시는데 판이 휘어서 나중에 피스 부분이 헐거워 질것 같습니다. 휨에대해 좀 더 고민해보면 계단판 제작 부분에서 합판 겹침 할 때 보강 파이프 하나 들어갔다면 구조적으로도 완벽 했지 싶습니다. 판 아래쪽 인장 부분에 10mm x 5mm 정도로 2~3줄만 넣어도 충분합니다.

      힌지가 하중을 나눠서 저 혼자 사용하는데에는 충분합니다.
      제 영상 의도는 구조적인 형태를 알려드리는 데에 있고 저는 제가 할수 있는 선에서 표현하고 보여드리는 것입니다. 많은 사람이 사용하거나 고하중이 필요한 경우엔 철물로 구조체를 만들면 저렴하고 더욱 튼튼하겠죠 :)
