Thanks Joel, but keep in mind that many people find nudity on the internet offensive. Not cool, worldly men like you and I who have often frequented the nude feet beaches of the Riviera, but you know, common types who don't get out much. To you and I nudity is just one element of an art work such as this video and with our aesthetic appreciation we simply accept it as a part of the gesalt. Boy, I'm glad I didn't waste my college education!

Great demo! Finally! Btw I've got an answer for your question: I wrote a song about being manipulated by tv and media, and when we recorded the song we used certain effect for the chorus that I wish i had for live performances... Yeah, Megaphone or the Lo-Fi.

Maynard from Tool likes to use lo-fi or telephone effects every so often, such as in Eulogy. It sounds good occasionally if you add it in part of a song and build up to higher quality vocals for contrast. I like the way Edguy uses such an effect on the intro to Hallowed Be Thy Name (the remake, not the original).
Yes, but he got that effect on Eulogy by singing through a kid's megaphone toy, not an FX processor.
Wish you would've shown how the pedal can control the amount of effect, what the range of it is, instead of every effect as simply on or off.

Hard to say from here. : ) Check all your connections. Is the power light on? Is your PA on? Connect the microphone directly into the PA to make sure the problem isn't outside Vocal 300. That's about all I can tell you, what I would do, without seeing your rig.
@Mike Michael....I'm having the exact same problem. I haven't tried using a preamp yet, but will let you know. it might be a short in either the headphone output or mic input

It's a fine unit to add to a collection of vox altering devices. Great and quick for stage use. If you are belting out Industrial or EBM style music you can kick the sh*t out of this thing and it is perfect for those genres. I picked mine up off a dealer / rep at a NAMM convention. Vocal effects are better left with your producer in the studio. Live all depends on the style of noise you are making. Just MOP.

We just bought one of these and I'm a bit naïve and it's a present for my daughter and I'm not sure what to do for Sound , do you know if it's possible to run into a guitar amp? Or does it have to go to a mixer and special vocal equipment for a speaker. Trying to figure out what cords to buy, I have a microphone but it doesn't come with the three Pin cord so I know I need to buy that
It's just a standard audio out jack, man. Plug it into a damn stereo for fuck's sake. Buying fx processors and don't even know how to connect the audio out? What the fuck.
