It is a great chassis and parts have come back available just not all of them yet. Make sure to tighten the motor mount, motor and the pinion gear's set screw tight and use loctite to prevent the spur gear from getting killed. :)
Can’t wait for you to do a comparison to the MRX GT vs MRX GT ver 1.5. RCMart has the ver 1.5 for sale. Plus there is an RMX GT coming out soon. Great video. I love my MRX GT but I just added the ver. 1.5 upgrade parts & adjustments, didn’t buy the chassis. Couldn’t find the 2 new parts explained on the MST website but will be out soon on the market. Overall slight improvement & game changer. Overall it run great like my MST RMX 3.0 KMW in comparison.
The MRX GT has left such a sour taste in mine and so many other's mouth that I might not even bother looking at the MRX GT v1.5. The part support debacle and them killing off the MRX GT so fast pissed off a lot of us. My RMX 3.0 KMW is better than the MRX GT anyways but is more $
Hello, sorry for delay in reply but i would choose the MD 1.0 4 gear (coloured) over the MST MRX GT. Biggest thing rn is part support but i also did like the MD 1.0 4 gear more than the MRX GT.
Hello :) I think MST wanted to try a different type of soft feel by doing this only in the rear. Several high performance applications in real cars do this including the MacPherson Strut Assembly, the shock is mounted upside down.
0o0oo0o this is a tough call. KMW's are numbered limited released full VIP chassis. The MRX GT is new generation design and will be mass produced for longer than the KMW's. As much as I want a KMW, right now i would go with the MRX GT :)
The M chassis is a smaller wheelbase and is considered to be "mini" 1/10 scale and is also referred to as 1/12 scale. The "M Chassis" naming is from Tamiya's line up of cars that feature this smaller wheelbase design usually in 210/225 and 235mm sizes
Sadly not long after I purchased both these kits MST decided to discontinue them..."limited run" or some crap. There are some kits still in stock at random hobby shops. Last time I was at Elite Drift Shop there was still some 2.5RS kits I think on the shelf. www.elitedriftshop.com
well it had been out on the market for about a year but they discontinued it calling it a "limited run" so that they could bring out the RMX 2.5S, the all plastic version
It's the RMX 2.5RS that has been discontinued recently and had already been on the market for a while. The MRX GT was just released at the end of 2022.
Looks like from the press release new mrx s coming out in July and if you want a “gt” they sell the upgrade parts separately… maybe they are thinking they can get more entry level new gen out there and in time those people will buy the upgrades.
This was the video that sealed the deal for me. My very first chassis MRX GT. Hopefully I’m starting on the right. Thanks!

Thanks nezo... been waiting to see then next to each other
Heck Yiss :D
Please give us an update video on how you've been enjoying the MRX!!
Yiss for sure in the near future :D So far everyone that has tried it out loves it in its out of box setup :D
Excellent review
Hey Nezo! Looking to get something new either the MD 1.0 4 gear or the MRX GT 1.5 new version. Which would yo go with?
Hello, sorry for delay in reply but i would choose the MD 1.0 4 gear (coloured) over the MST MRX GT. Biggest thing rn is part support but i also did like the MD 1.0 4 gear more than the MRX GT.
I am towards the mrx but why did they put plastic gears inside the diff in a 500dollar car??
Something to do with choice of diff oil however both cars are discontinued lol
Thank you! Test my mrx gt and it’s amazing!
Heck yisss :D :D :D :D
the backside of the front bulkhead of mrx-gt is similar with rmx 3.0 kmw if im not mistaken.
0o0o very nice! I need a KMW in my life lol
@@BadShoppe me too! haha
Hello Nezoo!! i like so much those new msts, perhaps because i own one :D!! May i ask, why in the rear shocks mounted upside down in bothe cars??
Hello :) I think MST wanted to try a different type of soft feel by doing this only in the rear. Several high performance applications in real cars do this including the MacPherson Strut Assembly, the shock is mounted upside down.
Just heard the RMX 2.5 RS has been discontinued. Damnit. The mrx is more than I want to pay. Oh well, time to look at what the competition have.
Yea i read about this as well. The MRX GT and RMX 2.5 aren't too far apart in pricing but I know what you mean. The MRX GT is a great chassis tho :D
Hello, in you personal preference would you buy a RMX 2.0 KMW or the MST MRX GT?

I got the impression that MST with product support is like:
The product in the stores now. 3... 2... 1... And... Part support ends
Thank you very much, ordered a RS after seeing this, looks like it's going to be discontinued now.
Awesome! Glad I could help :) Hopefully not too soon but if they replaced it with a 3.5 version I wouldn't be mad :D
Thanks for sharing. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the RMX 2.5 and the M chassis?
The M chassis is a smaller wheelbase and is considered to be "mini" 1/10 scale and is also referred to as 1/12 scale. The "M Chassis" naming is from Tamiya's line up of cars that feature this smaller wheelbase design usually in 210/225 and 235mm sizes
What motor/ESC and servo combo are you running in your MRX GT?
The electronics used are listed in the MRX GT Shakedown video :)
What silicone oil u use for those mst absorber..?
For both those cars I am using the oil provided in the box which is MST's #10 mineral oil (100wt). Works quite good :)
Where in the world can I buy these. I can't find them anywhere lol. I wana upgrade from my rmx 2.0 lol.
Sadly not long after I purchased both these kits MST decided to discontinue them..."limited run" or some crap. There are some kits still in stock at random hobby shops. Last time I was at Elite Drift Shop there was still some 2.5RS kits I think on the shelf. www.elitedriftshop.com
so witch one is better?
at the moment, none because they are both discontinued.
@@BadShoppe i thought the mst rmx 2.5 was just coming out ?

Is that MRX chassis kit interchangeable with the RMX 2.5 rtr....? looking to upgrade to a carbon chassis.
As far as I know, no. The rear end is completely different. There are optional carbon chassis available for the RMX 2.5 that will fit directly
MRX-GT Already discontinued.
It's the RMX 2.5RS that has been discontinued recently and had already been on the market for a while. The MRX GT was just released at the end of 2022.
@@BadShoppe Yeah, check again. I got the news from my local MST dealer.
yeah both and now lol
@@BadShoppe I just ordered a gt 😮 should I cancel?
