I ordered mine on ali express and it only took about two weeks to get here. And im glad i watch this because i had no idea i needed to get the gyros gain to zero if i was going to adjust it with channel 3!
i am just getting this controller set up finally got mine up and going burnt the stock ESC by crossing my battery wires bone head rookie move . good excuse to upgrade though. your series is great since I pretty much got mine as a RTR.
In due time. You’ll master your craft. Knowledge is power (gain it and share it vísa versa) Once you prefect the tune to your liking and work on the aesthetic look to your chassis and body the hobby becomes so much fun. Just don’t get caught up on the hype on spend ing on expensive chassis, it’s only a preference. The driver is 50% of what makes the hobby fun so put in that wheel and slide time on the track plus put up your own obstacles around the house to work on your timing in sliding if you can’t make it to the track. Wheels & tires are key, tuning your radio rates/exponentials, weight distribution and gyro gains are the other 30% of the hobby the other 20% is just a plus. Remember the driver is the key. Enjoy……..
is there a direct video on how to set up the remote to the receiver? I see you brought yours to someone that has knowledge. I dont want to screw things up and we do not have a drift track where we live. Thanks
Hey thanks for your feedback! So if I understand correctly green led means the tires return back to center slowly and red led means they return back to center quickly. Curious what the benefits and disadvantages of both are. Whatcha think?
@@edriftinOpposite. Red light is the slow return and, in my opinion, it's harder to transition in technical parts of tracks with high gyro gain. Green light gives me a bit more control over the transition. I typically run high 80 to low 90 gain in green light mode on smooth/polished concrete track.

@andrewbrownell9108 interesting? I'll double check but I believe mine is red led and returns to center quickly. I'll let you know when I check.
@@edriftinThere’s a switch on the gyro itself that says normal and assisted. Normal is the quick return to center and assisted is the slow return.
The green and red lights are the indicators between positive and negative gyro gain
