The noble radio is definitely one of those top-notch high performance RC transmitters that has so much functionality that someone like me would almost be afraid to have it in their hands with the fears of dropping it 😜👍💯
Flysky is a good brand. I've had my 6 channel for almost 10 years and it is still kicking. Also has insane range we checked it in an open corn field and got nearly a mile range.
I started with the NB4, bought a second one as I was over 20 cars. Then I switched to one NB4+ because I want to test it and as result: I love it. The screen is so much better then the original. As the PRO+ hit the market I switched again because of my crawlers, 8 channel is to less. Now I'm 100% satisfied for half of the Futaba price. As a hint, use NB4 trasmitter only with Flysky enhanced receivers. They cost only a few bucks more but you get the ibus-2 protocol and a free voltage monitoring cable for the lipo. My prefered receiver is the INr4-GYB with integraded gyro. If you don't need a gyro use FGr4B. More channels? use FGr8B or FGr12B. If you like built-in antennas then the new FRD4D. The radiomaster MT12 should be a good trasmitter with very cheap receiver but you need a course of studies, not my way.
I absolutely love mine. Been club racing my teknos with it all summer. I've dropped it twice on concrete by accident and it didn't break. Just scuffed it a little. Ended up buying a protective aluminum shell. You guys should offer those! They also look sick on the radio.
€300 isn't that cheap bare with no receiver, several other radios get the same functions and more channels for under 100. 75 bucks for DDF-350 with a 10channel receiver.
@@theoldculture216 my point is you can get something that does the same for way less, you're paying a premium for materials and bells and whistles. i find it funny that my years old at this point is that my it4s and this and very close as far as the menu layout and the on screen keyboard lol i love my it4s but the throttle dont center anymore sadly but its been a great tx
What about the radio master mt12 60 model memory. Elrs for super long range or the 4in1 version so you can bind to almost any receiver. I’ve had mine since it came out and I love it. Best transmitter ever especially because it’s only $150 also up to 32 channels
I ran the FlySky IT4, which was this transmitter’s touchscreen predecessor. The IT4 was a great transmitter, but the receivers were hit and miss with some being super glitchy. I imagine FlySky has completely fixed this RX issue or else Maifield and Ronnefalk would’ve stayed far away.
Also, the programmable nitro engine throttle bump was one of the most useful features when I ran this TX. I’d increase the throttle 10-15% by simply pressing the assigned button while starting and idling/warming up. Super useful feature!

In 2-channel mode , it is very fast. I do not know the exact latency, but world champion racers use the transmitter, and if it was not fast enough, they would not use it. -Brett
Why dont they make this in a 2 channel version, take out the stuff not needed and sell it for around $200? This is nice, but way overkill for a simple rc car.
FYI, I broke down and bought this from AMain......couldn't be happier. It's still overkill and I would have been happy with a $200 version of this, but it's a solid performer and feels very good in the hand.
I just received mine from A-Main after wanting one for over a year. $300 plus tax etc. Mine shuts off after a short period of non-use and it goes into lockup or brick mode…and will not completely go dark or turn back on. The only way out of that mode is to keep removing the grip and press the right (there is a left too) force reset button. The quick start guide is nearly useless. And the 80 page manual you have to download online is poorly translated into English making it hard to follow at times. The manual also does not cover some basic things like charging. It’s not explained at all it just says you need to charge it. also I don’t really see the point of the base battery. If it is not turned on it doesn’t help charge to handle battery. If the upper unit is on the base should always be on also but those are two separate buttons. You can charge your iPhone off the base battery too if you want but I really don’t need that. it has a very high-quality feel to it but it is small physically. It also has a lot of buttons and joysticks and all kinds of little wheels for all kinds of adjustments that really aren’t needed for racing and are going to be in the way. I’m going to have to return mine I guess. I hope they take it back and exchange it or something. Having to force a shut down every time it goes to sleep isn’t gonna cut it for me.
A-main helped me out. They are great. But I have to wait until stock is back to receive a replacement. One thing I like is the aluminum hand wheel. I don’t like flash and bling so naturally the red and chrome fake disc brake inside the wheel was a turn off I thought I’d had to live with. Turns out it’s easily removable so my steer wheel looks blacked out basic.
One click down on channel speed makes way too much of a change. 0.1s. Should be a smaller impact per click, maybe .05. Tried to help a racer that uses one of these and it was either servo too fast for him or way too slow. He had to settle for too fast.

I have the old crystal transmitter and receivers, I use them in my old rc cars because I’m too cheap to buy more transmitters and receivers
Edit: they are futaba ones
It's a piece of junk. The wheel brakes off very easily and is poorly made.
Wake n bake much?
So everything you touch is plastic and everything you don’t is metal 😆
You would prefer a 1kg transmitter?🥴
The others are all plastic
Just like how a gun is made of metal but the stock is made of wood or plastic? Must be one crappy gun right?
Lamborghini in radio control
A transmitter doesn't need a touch screen. This is why I got out of this hobby a couple of years ago. The hobby is overpriced, too large and stupid.
Buy one without a screen then……. plenty to choose from, in comparison to other controllers it’s a very good price for what you get
Would like to see Amain selling more Flysky products. But since there isn't much to choose from I'll stay with ordering from Amazon
Its very interesting that flysky is the go to radio for surface vehicles, flysky tried to enter the fpv and aircraft market and they failed miserably. I still think they are trash, but when something just rolls to a stop versus falling out of the sky....i guess flysky is good enough. I'm glad they found their place in the hobby.
