As a long time musket player, I appreciate your content! I love to theory craft and have a dozen different builds that I've worked through and have, and have a couple of questions!
1.) Doesn't the scaling of Intelligence outweigh Dexterity after the 350 mark? Wouldn't it be worth moving those 53 dex points over to Int?
2.) As the musket attacks are "light" attacks, wouldn't the 5% dmg buff from 25str be worth putting those 10 points into it?
3.) I feel like an idiot for this one, but I've recently realized that empowerment scaling for weapons scales independently for dmg types. So with full rune glass (10% total) + full attunement (10% total) + ring dmg (7%) + honing stone (7%) you can get a base empowerment of 34% for one dmg type! I was running full void harnessing, void runeglass, and a void dmg ring and found myself hitting the power cap on my void damage very quickly while testing shooters stance. After two shots my void dmg maxed out, while my thrust damage kept going up and up with each shot. This lead me to realize how the empowerment was being applied and how I needed to level it out. This lead me to testing the sighted runeglass, which I absolutly think are slept on now! While its only 1% per runeglass, the 5% total from armor applies to both thrust and elemental damage, and here's the kicker, plus it doesn't count as a source of empowerment! Leaving you more room to hit your empowerment cap, giving you room for bigger damage numbers!! I have found my base initial hits to be higher, and my fully empowered hits to be hitting a lot harder! My dps has gone up, and Im hitting harder than I have before!
My current build is:
Musket - Abyssal Attunement, Keenly Jagged, Vicious
VoidGauntlet - LifeTaker w/putrefying scream
Helmet (M) - Void Harnessing, Elemental Aversion, Empowered Shooters Stance
Chest (L) - Void Harnessing, Elemental Aversion, Slowing tether
Gloves (L) - Void Harnessing, Elemental Aversion, Crippling Powder Burn
Legs (M) - Attuned Leather Pants w/Void Harnessing
Feet (L) - Void Harnessing, Elemental Aversion, Refreshing Power Shot
My current attribute points are:
STR 25
DEX 350
INT 258
FOC 25
CON 25

**For my musket, I've tried both Powder Burn (45% slow for 5 seconds) and Plague Crits. While I really enjoy the utility of both of those perks, I prefer to prioritize dps output and have moved the utility to my armor to focus on dmg enhancement. Plus, everyone and their mother runs plague crits right now, and I prioritize group play and free shooting targets to get them low or finish them off.

yes, musket doesn't have zoom anymore and is projectile based with bullet drop
