thank you so much for this. in other videos people go on and on about this process like it's brain surgery, it takes forever and they get sidetracked talking about their kids' recitals and stuff. All I wanted to know was how to do it. That's what I got from your under - 5 - minutes video. Someone needs to give you a medal! I appreciate you.
Monica Maria I agree! I must have watched 5 videos today where it took at least 5 mins of people begging for subscribes, this and that before they got to the point of the video. So frustrating. I think we all know about that subscribe button now. This has been the first youtube video I've watched in a long time that I didn't feel like I was watching the HSN.
I agree!! I watch a ton of Acrylic Paint Pouring videos, and half of them go on & on for 20 minutes, begging for subs & support before even mixing the paints. This video was as easy as 1...2...3.❤
I ADORE your unique way of demonstrating - no words actually made me concentrate and TOOK IN MORE INFO!! Clear and down to the point! Thank you for sharing with us! South Africa
It must be a Wis thing because over half way through your video I was thinking it was the probably the best one I've seen ~ and I just watched a boat load of them, even the music was great and the pictures were also very nice-- then I noticed your mug, checked your name, and realized I understand midwest intuitively LOL Thanks for sharing this, it looks great.
This is probably the best video on photo transfers I've seen. Some I've watched are difficult for me to watch all the way through with all the uhh ummm yacking.
Thank you! I like your video because it fast and you don't talk! you write everything down! I hate to listen to people talking and not doing anything or just showing me all the steps in a slow motion. Thank you
First time viewing!! I saw you had "Packer" in your screen name & was legit, smiling saying, "GO PACK GO"!!💛💚💛💚 Awesome tutorial too! Your pics are cool!! Thx for sharing and for Reppin' OUR GREENBAY PACKERS!!!#GPG💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚
Does this work best as a transfer onto a canvas with a photo copied by an ink jet printer or by a laser printer? I have seen videos with both mentioned.
i love it i want learn that where get them glue, golden and squce for picutre on canvas i try make that one i need and want know what need get things from store
does the canvas has to be primed with gesso before beginning? I bought an acrylic gesso by mistake instead the mod podget. Not sure how much different would make.
After rubbing off the paper, do you have to wait until the water is dry before applying any mod podge? Cause I'm using a Gel medium...would it be any different if I were to apply the Gel medium on it while it was still wet?
Hi, PackerDi! I have a couple of quick questions: Are the “scratches” that appear, on the face of the finished product, from non-removed paper residue, or, from air-bubbles not removed between the photo and the gel-medium? Also, did you bring your printed “laser printed photo” into Office Depot, or, did you bring in a CD with your pix on it? Can they print up to any size? Thank you, for that great and SUPER FAST, cool tutorial! EXACTLY what I needed/wanted to know!!
Use a photo copier as I've read they are laserjet printers A gel medium to transfer the photo - mirror image to correct it or for letters to appear correct rather than backwards Mod Podge to seal it -- an alternative is Elmers glue mixed with water 1:1 ratio (***taken tips from RUclips and Pinterest) Amazon, eBay or your local hobby store carries these items
Thanks for replying for me! I've been stuck in Girl Scout Cookie land for over a month now and unable to spend any time on the computer, unless it deals with cookie orders. lol Yes, I used Golden Soft Gel Medium. Great stuff!
Dianne aka PackerDi I see that this tutorial is 6 years old. I saw it today for the first time. Can you please tell me what was the liquid you put on the canvas before adding the photo? Thank you 🙏
A friend picked up Mod Podge, but she got me the cloth version instead of the photo transfer. Would that work? Also, my husband is planning on making the frame for me with canvas he uses for oil painting. I wonder if it's not more porous.
Heh Miriam thanks for the video it all looks so easy. I have the Soft gel so away we go. Must get some Mod Podge later - never used that. Thanks again for sharing.
Good video - loved how quick and detailed it was for a demo. Music was great. ModPodge is good for simple crafts and obviously works here too. I love Liquitex Gloss Varnish instead. Bit pricey but if its something I really like and want to keep or sell it does a better job of not streaking, it's UV resistant, and works on multi purpose products.
I was winder if it's ok to paint along the edges of the canvas before applying the medium. My pictures aren't exactly 8x10 like my canvas, but I don't want white to show. I was thinking of using acrylic paint to form sort of a frame for the pictures.
I really wana do this but I get paranoid when the back says it contains a chemical that is known to the state of California to cause cancer. Do you know anything about that? Or is just if ingested?
Can I transfer anything to it? For example, i printed a colouring page that I coloured in with pencil crayons. Can I transfer that to canvas?? OR can I hodge podge it to it face side up? what would you suggest? I'm trying to make a unique gift for someone...
Thanks for the video! It took me awhile to notice that it's backwards once it's transferred. Gonna have to flip the photo on my computer if I want it to be right haha
That was amazing. Thanks. I want to do a watercolour painting and use paper money from the country in it to identify the country. It’s paper, how would I go about it without destroying the money or the delicate watercolour ?

Please I didn't see what kind of glue you used for fix the picture on the canvas and what to put on ... Thanks a lot

I could listen to this music all day. Absolutely love it and your work is beautiful.
Thank you Di for sharing your process! All of the pieces came out great. It was also wonderful to see your family photos!

Excellent, can't wait to try it on my many mini canvases. And what great taste in music! loved it
something about a blue saxophone...
Loving your Packer mug!

Nice and simple ... just the way we like it ... thanks so much for solving the mystery of image transfers
My favorite part was the Pacer cup! No, I guess it was my second fave! Love your work!!!
❤️❤️❤️ your work👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 your music is wonderfully relaxing 😌

Loved your video and especially loved the music!!!
I used Soft Gel
Medium by Golden to apply the image to the canvas. I'm not sure if any other adhesive works for this technique, but it might!
First time viewing!! I saw you had "Packer" in your screen name & was legit, smiling saying, "GO PACK GO"!!💛💚💛💚

Love it. Are you printing the pictures on regular paper and our you mirroring the image?
Although it was blurry, the steps were clear and easy to follow. I've question, can I use any glue to put the picture on the canvas?
After rubbing off the paper, do you have to wait until the water is dry before applying any mod podge? Cause I'm using a Gel medium...would it be any different if I were to apply the Gel medium on it while it was still wet?
will it work with emulsion paint as I need to do this for hmwk ?
great tutorial, direct to the point and fast.. Love it! can't wait to try

What was the white stuff you used to stick the picture on to the canvas with
whats the reason you added mod podge at the end onto the image? after you took the paper off with your hand
Great Video!. Will this transfer work if i print out an image from an Inkjet printer?
What type of paper do I need to use cartilage or thin normal paper that u use for writing
I have seen it done on packing tape as well. Are the photos done on copy paper or photo paper?
do i need to use glossy paper on which we print our photos or normal one ?
Can we use resin in the end touch to make it look more shiny or professional ?
good work. i have a question:
when i taking the paper out i also take out some paint, what can i do?
thanks :)
the photo i supposed in photo paper like the one you orfer online to be print at cvs or rite aid ??

i would like to try this. I would like to do a collague but i don't know if it would work being that the pictures are smaller
Beautiful .. adhesive and how much time or day for dry !!!
How do you get no holes thru the paper onto the canvas when u rub it off? It always manages to be hole filled when I rub the paper off
Will every gel medium work??
In which paper I print it out?
Is it a laser print?
i love the music and ur work happy new year
What would happen if you put elmers liquid glue onto the canvas instead of the soft gel?
Thanks for replying for me! I've been stuck in Girl Scout Cookie land for over a month now and unable to spend any time on the computer, unless it deals with cookie orders. lol Yes, I used Golden Soft Gel Medium. Great stuff!

love this video and especially enjoyed the music. Can you tell me who is performing? thanks
This video is awesome. Does the image have a canvas texture?
May I ask is that a regular photo print? Do you have to copy it over?
does anyone know if you can do this with metal for metal prints?
Love the music!!
Why did you add that second coating of gel?
Good video - loved how quick and detailed it was for a demo. Music was great. ModPodge is good for simple crafts and obviously works here too. I love Liquitex Gloss Varnish instead. Is it plain paper or laser paper?? On which the photo u printed
Thank you sooo much cant wait to try
very nice video.
what type of paper did you use?
does it matter if we use plain paper?
Does it need to be ink jet print only? laser print will work?
Step by step would do great. Hard to read for me. What was the white paste that you used before you laid down the picture?
I was winder if it's ok to paint along the edges of the canvas before applying the medium. My pictures aren't exactly 8x10 like my canvas, but I don't want white to show. I was thinking of using acrylic paint to form sort of a frame for the pictures.
Can you use Mod Podge on the top and the bottom?
what r the white paint u put on canvas ? is that textile paint or wat ?
can I use Mod Podge for the initial transfer?
What did u use b4 u put the picture? What is this gel ?
Does modge podge make the canvas sticky?
Can i use wall paint?
I really wana do this but I get paranoid when the back says it contains a chemical that is known to the state of California to cause cancer. Do you know anything about that? Or is just if ingested?
Quick question plz answer if you can ...
Would emulsion work to do this ?

The name of the paper used for printing photos. Thank you
LOVE THE MUSIC.
Can we use mod podge instead of golden gel medium.
Omg i have been trying to find that saxophone song like forever can u please tell me the name of it please
Can I transfer anything to it? For example, i printed a colouring page that I coloured in with pencil crayons. Can I transfer that to canvas?? OR can I hodge podge it to it face side up? what would you suggest? I'm trying to make a unique gift for someone...

Excellent!
Thank you.

Does this work on plywood? Like if the wood was sanded down?
Good video but I didn't get it what you use to brush on the canvas before you placed the image on to it. Can you tell me what that was? Thanks
Can I use photo paper, like the ones I get at Walgreens?
Nice instructional! Thank you!
Thanks for the video! It took me awhile to notice that it's backwards once it's transferred. Gonna have to flip the photo on my computer if I want it to be right haha
What is the golden ointment you put
What is that you use a paste? Or glue?

That was amazing. Thanks. I want to do a watercolour painting and use paper money from the country in it to identify the country.
It’s paper, how would I go about it without destroying the money or the delicate watercolour ?
What kind glue to put pic on canvas, didn't catch name.. too fast.. love background music..
