thank you so much for this. in other videos people go on and on about this process like it's brain surgery, it takes forever and they get sidetracked talking about their kids' recitals and stuff. All I wanted to know was how to do it. That's what I got from your under - 5 - minutes video. Someone needs to give you a medal! I appreciate you.
Monica Maria I agree! I must have watched 5 videos today where it took at least 5 mins of people begging for subscribes, this and that before they got to the point of the video. So frustrating. I think we all know about that subscribe button now. This has been the first youtube video I've watched in a long time that I didn't feel like I was watching the HSN.
I agree!! I watch a ton of Acrylic Paint Pouring videos, and half of them go on & on for 20 minutes, begging for subs & support before even mixing the paints. This video was as easy as 1...2...3.❤
I ADORE your unique way of demonstrating - no words actually made me concentrate and TOOK IN MORE INFO!! Clear and down to the point! Thank you for sharing with us! South Africa
Thank you! I like your video because it fast and you don't talk! you write everything down! I hate to listen to people talking and not doing anything or just showing me all the steps in a slow motion. Thank you
This is probably the best video on photo transfers I've seen. Some I've watched are difficult for me to watch all the way through with all the uhh ummm yacking.
It must be a Wis thing because over half way through your video I was thinking it was the probably the best one I've seen ~ and I just watched a boat load of them, even the music was great and the pictures were also very nice-- then I noticed your mug, checked your name, and realized I understand midwest intuitively LOL Thanks for sharing this, it looks great.
i love it i want learn that where get them glue, golden and squce for picutre on canvas i try make that one i need and want know what need get things from store
I was winder if it's ok to paint along the edges of the canvas before applying the medium. My pictures aren't exactly 8x10 like my canvas, but I don't want white to show. I was thinking of using acrylic paint to form sort of a frame for the pictures.
Heh Miriam thanks for the video it all looks so easy. I have the Soft gel so away we go. Must get some Mod Podge later - never used that. Thanks again for sharing.
Use a photo copier as I've read they are laserjet printers A gel medium to transfer the photo - mirror image to correct it or for letters to appear correct rather than backwards Mod Podge to seal it -- an alternative is Elmers glue mixed with water 1:1 ratio (***taken tips from RUclips and Pinterest) Amazon, eBay or your local hobby store carries these items
Good video - loved how quick and detailed it was for a demo. Music was great. ModPodge is good for simple crafts and obviously works here too. I love Liquitex Gloss Varnish instead. Bit pricey but if its something I really like and want to keep or sell it does a better job of not streaking, it's UV resistant, and works on multi purpose products.
I'm not sure. This is the first and only time that I have done this technique and it was using an image that I had enlarged and printed at Office Depot. It's worth a shot to try though!
Can I transfer anything to it? For example, i printed a colouring page that I coloured in with pencil crayons. Can I transfer that to canvas?? OR can I hodge podge it to it face side up? what would you suggest? I'm trying to make a unique gift for someone...
Does this work best as a transfer onto a canvas with a photo copied by an ink jet printer or by a laser printer? I have seen videos with both mentioned.
please help me whatever i do theres holes and it ruins the whole thing what am i doing wrong. i take off the papper very slowly and carefully still theres holes
I LOVE THIS VIEDO BECUZ I UNDERSTAND BY WATCHING AND THE MUSIC IS MY FAVORITE THE BLUES TY ONLY ONE THING I COULNT FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS THE GOLDEN SOMETHIN U USED AS THE MEDIUM FOR THE CANVAS? TY
I just bought a bottle of mod podge....because it was on sale and in the art section of the store. Not what I thought it was for lol. Going to try this though. What kind of paper is that? Can you use a regular photo? Excellent music too. Most of the music on these videos suck😊
A friend picked up Mod Podge, but she got me the cloth version instead of the photo transfer. Would that work? Also, my husband is planning on making the frame for me with canvas he uses for oil painting. I wonder if it's not more porous.
Dianne quick question Quick question...I did a poster print (fed ex office laser) print 18X24 and used mod podge to adhere to canvas all was fine...started removing the paper and the transfer was looking great. Wet it looked awesome colors popping! then next day I did more paper removal and still yet I got paper hazing..I thought I had removed enough paper and clear coated it....but the transfer darkened and still yet paper hazing showing...I wonder if it can be salvaged,saved....Help Me! 🤕 Maybe the poster print paper was to thick????
I only use Golden Soft Gel Medium for transfers. I’ve never tried using Mod Podge so that might be it more than the type of paper you used. It’s been many, many years since I made this video. lol. I have had hazing happen in other projects. I keep wetting and rubbing and sometimes I can get more of the paper off sometimes I can’t. You can try adding a layer of glossy medium, like Mod Podge on top. I have done that before and the Mod Podge sometimes soaks into those hazy parts and when it dries clear it reduces the haze. Only problem is once you do that, it’s sealed and you won’t be able to try rubbing any more haze off. I hope that helped you a bit!
I really wana do this but I get paranoid when the back says it contains a chemical that is known to the state of California to cause cancer. Do you know anything about that? Or is just if ingested?

Please I didn't see what kind of glue you used for fix the picture on the canvas and what to put on ... Thanks a lot

Excellent, can't wait to try it on my many mini canvases. And what great taste in music! loved it
something about a blue saxophone...
I used Soft Gel
Medium by Golden to apply the image to the canvas. I'm not sure if any other adhesive works for this technique, but it might!
❤️❤️❤️ your work👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 your music is wonderfully relaxing 😌

Thank you Di for sharing your process! All of the pieces came out great. It was also wonderful to see your family photos!
I was winder if it's ok to paint along the edges of the canvas before applying the medium. My pictures aren't exactly 8x10 like my canvas, but I don't want white to show. I was thinking of using acrylic paint to form sort of a frame for the pictures.
Omg i have been trying to find that saxophone song like forever can u please tell me the name of it please
Can I use photo paper, like the ones I get at Walgreens?
Heh Miriam thanks for the video it all looks so easy. I have the Soft gel so away we go. Must get some Mod Podge later - never used that. Thanks again for sharing.
Have fun and I hope your transfer works great!
excellent mais quel papier ?? et c'est de l'eau ??? merci
In which paper I print it out?
Is it a laser print?
Although it was blurry, the steps were clear and easy to follow. I've question, can I use any glue to put the picture on the canvas?
I cant see what the gel is that you are putting on the canvas
Can u please list stuff to do this? Thank u
Use a photo copier as I've read they are laserjet printers

Amazon, eBay or your local hobby store carries these items
The name of the paper used for printing photos. Thank you
Nice and simple ... just the way we like it ... thanks so much for solving the mystery of image transfers
i would like to try this. I would like to do a collague but i don't know if it would work being that the pictures are smaller
Love it. Are you printing the pictures on regular paper and our you mirroring the image?
Can i use this process to transfer an object to a pre poured acrylic canvas
Can you use pictures from magazines?
Great Video!. Will this transfer work if i print out an image from an Inkjet printer?

I Love This...Came Out Beautiful...Who Sang This Song I Really Like It

Good video - loved how quick and detailed it was for a demo. Music was great. ModPodge is good for simple crafts and obviously works here too. I love Liquitex Gloss Varnish instead. Yeppers, sure does!!! I just used My Liquitex on 12 canvas paintings I did & it sure makes the colors vibrantly Pop!!:)
Will every gel medium work??
Can we use mod podge instead of golden gel medium.
What is the golden ointment you put
Good video but I didn't get it what you use to brush on the canvas before you placed the image on to it. Can you tell me what that was? Thanks

Liked it very much. I liked the sound track also. Would you tell me what it is and who's p[laying the sax?
I'm not sure. This is the first and only time that I have done this technique and it was using an image that I had enlarged and printed at Office Depot. It's worth a shot to try though!
Hello , the paper that you used for the photography is normal paper or the paper that is used for photos?
What did you use to stick the photo to the base I only saw it quickly
Sandra Marques the bottle says Soft Gel (Matte)
is it like modge podge this gel matte
I have seen it done on packing tape as well. Are the photos done on copy paper or photo paper?
What did she glue the pictures on with before she turned the paper off??
Can I use acrylic liquid paint small bottles
Can we use varnish after mod podge??
Can i use wall paint?
Quick question plz answer if you can ...
Would emulsion work to do this ?
the photo i supposed in photo paper like the one you orfer online to be print at cvs or rite aid ??
Was that modge podge or paint?
Can I transfer anything to it? For example, i printed a colouring page that I coloured in with pencil crayons. Can I transfer that to canvas?? OR can I hodge podge it to it face side up? what would you suggest? I'm trying to make a unique gift for someone...
Step by step would do great. Hard to read for me. What was the white paste that you used before you laid down the picture?
Does this work best as a transfer onto a canvas with a photo copied by an ink jet printer or by a laser printer? I have seen videos with both mentioned.
Does this work on plywood? Like if the wood was sanded down?
Does modge podge make the canvas sticky?
please help me whatever i do theres holes and it ruins the whole thing what am i doing wrong. i take off the papper very slowly and carefully still theres holes
How do you get no holes thru the paper onto the canvas when u rub it off? It always manages to be hole filled when I rub the paper off
what r the white paint u put on canvas ? is that textile paint or wat ?
I LOVE THIS VIEDO BECUZ I UNDERSTAND BY WATCHING AND THE MUSIC IS MY FAVORITE THE BLUES TY ONLY ONE THING I COULNT FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS THE GOLDEN SOMETHIN U USED AS THE MEDIUM FOR THE CANVAS? TY
Soft gel (Mattx) thats what i read though
Whats the use if they make video's and they dont tell you what they use
pit man I agree. It’s very frustrating
Does it need to be ink jet print only? laser print will work?
Can you use Mod Podge on the top and the bottom?
Can u resin that when finished??
Do you reverse the images before printing so it doesn't transfer backwards?
Heather Elizabeth yes
How can you reverse the image before printing
Flip it in an imaging programme such as Photoshop
I just bought a bottle of mod podge....because it was on sale and in the art section of the store. Not what I thought it was for lol. Going to try this though. What kind of paper is that? Can you use a regular photo? Excellent music too. Most of the music on these videos suck😊
I went back and watched again... I see what kind of paper now😁
question I printed a photo at Walgreen's can in image the photo
A friend picked up Mod Podge, but she got me the cloth version instead of the photo transfer. Would that work? Also, my husband is planning on making the frame for me with canvas he uses for oil painting. I wonder if it's not more porous.
Salve... Si può trasferire un'immagine su una tela già dipinta ad acrilico??

King god boo - i need your love
Sounds like a rendition of Tennessee whiskey
Ce ai folosit prima data inainte sa pui fotografia
Please tell me. And photo what you need? Glossy or matte.
I have used matte (laser print) and put glossy (or matte, depending on the effect I want) mod podge finish over it.
Ce fel de hârtie se folosește pentru aceste tablouri de panza?
do i need to use glossy paper on which we print our photos or normal one ?
What would happen if you put elmers liquid glue onto the canvas instead of the soft gel?
HI. this is nice video. nice doing. how do you place your camera over your stuff ? kindly tell me how....with mobile camera or laptop camera. how.
whats the reason you added mod podge at the end onto the image? after you took the paper off with your hand
Have you tried this with photo paper, and doea it work?
No, I never have. I’m not sure it would work because of the type of paper it is. I’ve only ever tried this with regular printer/copy paper.
Can I use a regular poster?
can I use Mod Podge for the initial transfer?
What kind of printout will work for this?
Loved your video and especially loved the music!!!
Dianne quick question Quick question...I did a poster print (fed ex office laser) print 18X24 and used mod podge to adhere to canvas all was fine...started removing the paper and the transfer was looking great. great tutorial, direct to the point and fast.. Love it! can't wait to try
Is this a simple paper print or a photograph paper.
I really wana do this but I get paranoid when the back says it contains a chemical that is known to the state of California to cause cancer. Do you know anything about that? Or is just if ingested?

How do I do a poster with words because the words will be backwards.... Any suggestions??
Just reverse the image before printing it and when applied on canvas the words are properly printed
