You are a decoupage genius! your videos are professionally done, pertinent and easy to follow. No "um", or nervous laughs and saying the same thing over and over again like we are idiots! Love you!
I have to say I absolutely love that your furry friend sits there on your desk in your videos. Mine was always in my lap while I worked. I miss him dearly. 🙂
I just found you. YAY. I am happy to see someone that doesn't use a cricut for every thing. I have too much stuff now and don't want another expense added when I am trying to make things on a budget. I am so happy to find yoy.
THANK YOU for putting all these methods together!!! Finally someone did that, and you did it in such a straightforward, uncomplicated manner!! Thank you, thank you!!
I learned the reverse transfer in middle school and loved it. A friend gave me some beautiful photos of chickens I want to mount on wood and do the reverse transfer with them. I loved this video. Thank you.
I like them all. I like your tutorial because there's not a lot of tools to buy that some people can't afford! It's simple and beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
The reverse method is actually the only one that really makes sense to do as the other are really only gluing a piece of paper to wood ,so you can’t do different coloured wood , I prefer making a stencil and painting it on 🤷♂️ to each there own ,thank you for sharing 😎
TV Guy know-it-all here: Excellent production value. Don't forget audio quality. Open was an echo chamber. Soundstages are "dead" rooms. Voice over had white noise, HVAC or something. Video is amazing. Get the audio sorted and you are there.
Thank you for sharing all 4 methods. I think my favorite is going to be the reverse transfer because it would be so satisfying as you rub off the paper to see your image. Also your sanding is already done. Can’t wait to try a photo using this method!
I really enjoyed the craft today. My kids always ask me what am I going to up cycle next. I have been saving and repurposing for years. I enjoy what you can make out of the simplest of things. I will be watching for more of your great ideas. Thank You 🙏
Okay i missed the first 33 seconds of what you said as I could not stop admiring your beautiful room!!!!! ❤❤❤❤And i only leave youtube comments once every 8 years 😂
I enjoy your videos, you get to the point without a lot meaningless airtime filler. Love that~ I have learned a lot of hacks and tips watching...thanks~
Oh how much I love your signs..I am so new to the computer life I struggle so much with images and printing and downloading I beat myself up horrible, but you give me inspiration, trying the mod pod get today, crossing my fingers, thanks for your videos for backward person like me
Thank you for the four different ways, I have tried the iron one with a small table and wrapping paper came out lovely,I am about to tune in and watch how you can make napkins so thank you for that x
Woo hoo! Just started the transfer process. This was so helpful and I am excited to try the reverse method. I agree it does look the best. Your explanations of each method was great. Thank you for the help!
I would not consider 3 of them transfers since they stay on the paper , I would be more interested in seeing how to transfer an image onto something. Thank you for the tutorial !
True. It doesn't matter for this video but it does matter if people think the other 3 are transfers and go into the crafting community using the terms incorrectly. I can see people getting really confused if they think gluing paper onto wood is the same as a transfer.
Thank you so much for your hard work making this tutorial as a visual and kinesthetic learner this video is a real winner!!! I love how you labeled each technique and kept the labels in each video. Just wonderful. Also, your description and voice over work is fantastic. Keep on sharing your skill and passion. After seeing your video today for the first time, I personally will be checking out more of your content. Hugs from one Crafty Mom to another!!! ❤❤❤❤
As I didn't see this before I have to use the regular option as I wanted to use a black/white as a base and paint it in full color by hand. The white chairc paint would just be an underlay. It's a 60x100 cm pinewood board I want to use.
I've done all of these methods . By far my favorite method is the iron on. I've had epic fails with reverse transfer. I'm going to give it a go again after watching your instructions.😊
I’ve been watching and learning for several years. After not crafting for the past year due to illness I came right back to refresh my mind 😅 excited to see some new links and offers to join. Can you tell me your favorite brush to apply the glue?
Thank you so much for making this video. I had seen a thing about the reverse transfer once upon a time but when I tried to find it now, all I could find was videos either showing the regular method you put here (Not what I want) or talking about the new modge podge photo transfer stuff and that was not helpful. This video really was, thank you so much.
Hi, I love your tutorials, they are so inspiring. The reverse image transfer is the best one for me but its also been very interesting to see all the different ways it can be done. thank you!!!!
Because I have an inkjet printer I print the letters a very light color and then trace over the letters with paint so the ink doesn't run when water is applied to it. The script texts are easier for me to trace over since they have a more hand-painted look to them.
I think that I like the iron on ethod the best. I've done napkins several times and love the ones that I've purchased. With this method you let the napkim dry completely. I didn't do that so had some holes. With the iron on you wouldn't have that issue !!
Hi love your tutorials you have a wonderful voice and you go at a steady but keep going pace. He explained things well you don’t chitter chatter in between thank you so much I subscribed on the previous real that I watched but I couldn’t find a place to put a comment so I’m putting it on here I look forward to seeing more of your work thank you so much and you’re organized
Good evening, Ms. Deidre. I've been following you on Facebook and just found you on RUclips. I've really enjoyed watching your videos and seeing what you make. You have inspired me to make make Reverse Transfer to wood signs. I decided to start making them and selling them at our monthly events in my small town and other craft fairs that my county does through the year. Yesterday was my first attempt at making them. I'd like to tell you my process and see if you can help me to figure out what I did wrong and how I can fix it. I found Bible verses and inspirational quotes that I want to use. I used a font generator to generate the words, copy and pasted them to Word, did a 180° flip, and then printed the pages out. I found scrap wood to fit each phrase the way I wanted them, cut them, and sanded them down. Of the 8 boards, I did a "stain" with 1 part brown acrylic paint and 3 parts water. After I applied the stain to the wood, I wiped it off immediately. For the other 5 boards, I painted 4 with acrylic paint and 1 with some house paint that I had sitting around. Since I live in 100°+ weather in Texas, I was able to put the wood outside to dry for about 30 minutes to an hour and they dried well. When I took them inside, I applied the coat of Mod Podge, placed the paper down, used a stiff card to press the air bubbles out and left them to dry over night and all day. When I got home this evening, I began with one of the stained boards. I used a sponge to apply water to the paper and began using the sponge to gently rub the paper off, which worked. Then I noticed that the letters were rubbing off, so I switched to using my fingers, which worked, but again, I noticed that the letters were rubbing off. Next, I did the same process on the acrylic painted boards, and again, I found that the letters were rubbing off. I went back and was searching for a video that might explain what I did wrong and how I could fix it, but I didn't see one. Can you please guide me to a video that will help me, or if you have the time to respond and guide me, I would truly appreciate it? Sincerely, Christina Smith
Thank you so much for these video's, I love decoupage and I have been wanting to learn the knack, I love the thicker paper idea as I want to use cards, thank you
I am so thrilled that I found you! The reverse transfer method is going to save me so much money! I don't have to use vinyl on every project and sometimes you can get bleeding with stencils. My crafting world has been opened even more! Thank you for the clear instructions for each method.
Great video!! I have got to try making my own images on napkins! I like the reverse image transfer...tried it on some painted vases...it really works !!
I am so happy to know you can do this! I really don't want to buy a Cricut and it's awesome to know you can transfer these ways. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you for the video. I use iron on method myself because it has the least amount of wrinkles for me compared to the regular method. I have found that putting a top coat of mod podge after ironing sometimes causes wrinkles so in that case I skip the top coat. I am off to watch your homemade chalk paint and ink jet printer videos! Thanks again.
Thank you for a great tutorial. You made it very easy to understand. Can’t wait to try the regular transfer. Once I get that I’m going to try them all.
I want to transfer either photos or things my daughter's likes on to a lamp shade that is already assembled, how too. It is a material obviously. Thankyou in adavance

I am too inept to do the reverse transfer so I like the other ones myself. I’m a teacher of 9 yr old and they would LOVE doing this!!
TV Guy know-it-all here: Excellent production value. Don't forget audio quality. Open was an echo chamber. Soundstages are "dead" rooms. Voice over had white noise, HVAC or something.

Rude
There's no transfer in 3 of the techniques.
That's just misleading.
@@mrgrinch61 not rude at all!
Thanks for saying this, I thought I was misunderstanding what a transfer is
Love them all!! If I had to choose it would be the reverse transfer (looks very natural/rustic;). Thanks for DIY!!

Thanks 🌸 yes I do find it also wrinkles sometimes I just re iron after top coat of wrinkle appears!
