Hard to beat a chevron patterned lug. It provides great forward drive and when off camber there seems to be more bite on the tops and inside lug are touching. Where the pit bulls seems to only be riding on top of the lug only. Both cool tires for sure, like to see some jconcepts green against the g8 compound both pre scrubed. Beautiful looking wheels.
Loving these comparisons, great content! 👍 I would like to see these done with some light scrubbing in as tires can drastically change with even a little use (but maybe not practical with tight schedules?). Both are great looking tires with realistic tread but I was surprised how well the Armor performed against the Rock Beast. Still, neither one really impressed me. Keep up the great work!
Like these videos! Only place I've seen the pitbulls work, believe it or not, is sandy hill climbs. As far as rocks, they look great, and that's about it! Keep these coming! What 2 are next?
The Rock Beast XL is in my top 10 worst tire in both dry and wet terrain in my side of the globe 😆 You should try and get an og Rock Beast (not the XL), I've heard good things about it but never found a set. They are really good looking.
@@westdesertwheeler your in a better position to test that claim. Even the SuperSwamper 4.3's is supposedly better performing than the larger SuperSwamper XL 4.75. Unfortunately I was very sick last year when I owned both tires, and never got to test them... also different had compounds the 4.75 was a predator and the 4.3 is G8. I still own the G8, but mostly use it on trail builds (as poser tire hehe).
How about the tires I have in my fleet, do you have those to test? I have the Hyrax Predator, GMade MT-1904, Louise Champ(Aka Duratrax Deepwoods) and the Traxxas Canyon Trail but modified.
I haven't had time to watch many of the comparisons the last few weeks. So far what are the top 2 or 3 tires out of the testing? I need to get new tires for my Capra and won't be able to catch up on your videos for another few weeks
I have yet to really be impressed with the rock beasts. They just seem “meh” to me. They work better after lots wear as most crawler tires do, but even after a few different foam changes they just can’t keep up with Proline, JConcepts, or even RC4WD tires for me.
The two tires I would like to see go head to head is the krawlers and tusks.
Rock Beast tires are my favorite tires. Don’t sleep on them. Thanks for the great and very informative videos 💪🏼🙏👍🏼🤙🏼
Thanks!
When's the next tire comparison video? Definitely looking forward to see that bracket finished out 😀
Thanks for doing real tire comparisons! Can't wait to see how the Krawlers compare!

My rock beasts are great now that they scrubbed in! Keep getting better
Another great video Logan. It would be cool if you had a tire durometer to accurately compare the tire compounds.
Love these tests! Was wondering when we were gonna see next vid. I know you busy guy though 💯🤜
Thanks I was sick and voiceover would have been bad
Really like this format. With the chalk lines for reference.
Thanks

Others have been run before the test. These were new

I agree mine are 2 years old and they just now started working lol but they look great
I’m not sure what’s next I need to go film more
@@westdesertwheeler 1.9 flat irons you don’t see much on them
Great job Logan
Beautiful wheels and inserts;-)
Loves these, keep em coming!
Thanks

I doubt a smaller set would help

What beadlocks r those on the rock beasts

My favorite is G8 tires from proline or Jconcepts green compound
What tread design would you recommend? Proline and jconcept make so many in the g8 and green compound I have no idea where to start.
Tell bro what tire do you prefer of all???

On More Time now that they are scrubbed in I think the Armor might do a lot better have to get the oil aka mold release
I think it comes down to compound
Great test , on mid level (shelf queen ) tires. Just kidding lol.
How did you get those clean cuts for the shock mounts in the hood?
Patience and a dremel
@@westdesertwheeler i think he meant how did you line them up perfectly. at least thats what i get from his question
