It always takes me out of stealth games when the person sneaking has the heaviest boots and the sounds you hear are so loud that you can't imagine they don't notice you.
All of them do except Origins and Odyssey, where enemies just kind of randomly follow pre-determined paths with no timer or coordination so you get 3 guys standing in the same spot the last 2 got killed or bunching up while patrolling. But as far as I know, the heist missions in Unity change up the enemy layout on each attempt.
@@Snacks256 AI issue. it was supposed to be coordinated, but when you kill 1, all of them mess up. you're right about unity though but it wasn't main story missions, i think. coop and assault missions
People are notoriously inattentive. However I'm pretty sure the guards saw this mf and were just like "Nah, I'm good." I think one guard even looked up at him around 1:47

AC is the line between fun stealth and tedious stealth. If someone made a stealth game to be as realistic as possible, then it would be a VERY different game. The more recent Ghost Recon titles are a good example to use here. Real spec ops don't do that ninja stuff of creeping around a big active base. Stealth for a spec ops could be summed up with this one phrase. "Know one will know if there's no one to know."

So long as they’re not DIRECTLY under the guy, I am pretty sure most people will notice a human-sized entity moving above them and they will then look up to see.

If dishonored movie, or any stealth videogame that became a movie adaptation, I need you to direct it. The stills, the silence, the angles. They dont teach this anywhere.
My suggestions for the next AC games would be...one in NYC in the 40s, AC WW2 in occupied France 1940, AC Chronicles titles turned into full AC games, and AC during the Three Kingdoms era in China

lol no way thats crazy! not in a thousand years would i have ever thought about pulling off that kind of stealth movement! what i do is try to stealth kill as many as i can as stealthy as i can so that after the mission i wouldnt have to worry anout any enemies and just walk right out without needing to...stealth my way out....sometimes it doesnt work out too well honestly... lol.. but thats just me..
As someone who only played Assassin's Creed 2 and brotherhood, first I used to think that AC 2 has the best parkour but it's not completely true AC 2 has the more realistic parkour but not best, after playing ac 2 for a long time, I start getting bored because of the slow climb ups, they are realistic because at insane hights, one must have to go slow while in AC unity you can enjoy it better with more dynamic movements but yes not that realistic.

There is NO WAY you could actually evade someone's peripheral vision like that in real life, let alone make that amount of noise and not get spotted.
