When I saw this video, I had a question in my head. Is it also possible to apply DForce to characters? I mean for example on the female breast, fat, muscles etc. There are enough videos for clothing but nothing explains the physics on the body. If 2 people touch each other, you sit on the floor etc. The body deforms, breasts sag, there must be gravity. I think you get the idea. Sorry for asking but i am still new to this stuff. Would be really super helpful, if you could go into it a bit more.
I hope someday interaction with objects will be calculated without pinning or weight mapping, like in Carrara. That's how you would expect physics simulator to work. Thanks for the tutorial I couldn't find this anywhere else
Great tips in this tutorial, but I was wondering: In Blender you can increase the roughness of a surface - in this case the sphere - so that the cloth wouldn't slide off it. Is there something like that in DS as well?
D-Force is a bit limited in that regard. It's only really meant to be used as a cloth simulator, although some people use it for other things such as hair. THe settings for d-force apply to the environment and the "Cloth" in the simulation but there is not option to add friction properties to other surfaces. The closest you can get is to experiment with different settings on the cloth itself until you get something vaguely close to what you need. failing that you can experiment with the weight maps to get different results too.
If you follow the steps in the first dForce video I made (the one with the blanket) you should be able to apply a dForce dynamic surface to any clothing object. The caveat is that the item of clothing needs to be one single mesh otherwise it will fall apart as soon as you start simulating. Some items may explode if their geometry isn't right but yea you could paint a weight map over the items in the same way too.
@@GameDeveloperTraining Do you know how to change the geometry to stop the clothing from exploding? I have a dress that is not-dForce, so I make it a dynamic surface but as it simulates it always explodes.
So far every video of yours I have watched has been very useful, you have earned a subscription.
Thanks for the video, yes please keep making them. thanks
Brilliant! These are exactly the type of video tutorial I have been looking and hoping for. Please continue producing these. Thank you! 😀👍
very useful. Thought a long time to cover a Model laying on a surface covered confrom by some Wrapes or so.
Thanks for making this so easy to understand!
You bet!
Great stuff again! Very useful, i can imagine some towel falling on shoulders of our character. Thanks so much for sharing.

Extremely useful. Thanks!
Very interesting, thanks
Very welcome
Awesome tutorial thank you
Nice tutorial. How do you prevent tears or poke threw. Thanks
The simplest way would be to increase the resolution of your cloth so that there are more vertices for d-force to collision check.
Thank you! Great tutorial!

Can I get a link or the name of outfit in the school girl outfit in the thumbnail? I'd really like to get it.
Can't help you sorry. It was 3 years ago.

Can you use this method to apply weight maps to non-dForce clothes, such as a skirt?
Do you mean if you were trying to turn a non d-Force item into a d-Force one?
@@GameDeveloperTraining Yes. For example, a skirt made for genesis 2? Or does that require more steps?

Hey can you make unlisted video tutorial of h scenes setup
The Constantine I will be doing some nsfw videos for my patrons once I have time 😊
Hi i trying to make a visual novel game...
I would really like for you to show a video of how to setup a scene for simple interaction scenes
I want to help, I'm just not certain what you mean my friend.
@@GameDeveloperTraining posing like for example some massage scene were a guy give massage to a girl
How to make two characters touch each other
Thank you Thank you Thank you. I'm trying to Dforce old poser hair but some parts of it do NOT like deforce. Particularly Bangs hehe
Horror. This No don`t worked in my daz! brush not see! What is ited?
you need to use the Tool settings tab whilst the weight map tool is selected
