There are many things about this litter box that I like, and that my cats like! First, it is very easy to assemble when you receive it. The instructions are thorough and there is lots of information available using the QR code. You always wonder if a cat is going to be OK with something new and foreign, that was not a problem! I had cats trying to climb inside while I was putting it together! Inside the litter box there is a line so you can easily see where the ideal level of cat litter is, which is very helpful. The opening is low to the ground so it is easy for the cats to step right in and use it. Once the cat exits, the litter box senses they have left and it goes into cleaning mode.
Cats can survive fall from great heights, thanks to how they work in freefall -- they turn their stomach down and their bone/muscle structure works like a giant spring/shock absorber, thanks to super flexible spine, while they do pretty amazing (intuitive) physics with their limbs. I've personally seen cat fall from 8th story window - it was bleeding from nose and had a contusion, but otherwise okay and healed quickly. No human could ever survive this. They're also curious, but lighting quick, resulting in getting out of dangerous situations with milliseconds left. That's probably the origin of the saying.
I have to admit that I've been on the fence about these electric litter boxes for several years, but just like my inclination to jump on the floor vacuum wagon, I waited too long to what I wish I had done a long time ago. I wanted to wait until we used it for a few weeks before writing this review. We have two adult cats that use it.
So glad I made the right call over so many similar products. It was very easy to install. It connected to my phone very easily. I have both cats in it. I think the height and space are cat friendly. No need for the cats to jump in and out like some other products that have a certain height. Overall it has worked great so far and no noise. Definitely recommend!
When cat loves a human, they pretty much treat human as their mother, suckling on fingers and whatnot. Cats also learn quickly to lay on back or meow to manipulate humans - cats usually don't meow (or make any noise at all) normally, save for when they're in heat/mating or aggressive. Cats also tend to mark humans and their stuff with their scent (rubbing and so-called kneading ), but also cover themselves in scent of human (rolling on bedsheets, clothing, etc). This indicates some sort of ownership/becoming one relation.
For those cases of cats escaping or being allowed to be an indoor outdoor, get a collar and consider getting your cat chipped. Easier to find when lost and easier to claim ownership of someone finds your cats and tries to take the cat in for themselves.
This is more controversial, but it is true. You should really consider making your cat an indoor cat. Cats, although domesticated, are still animals and have wild tendencies in them. They can and will disappear if let outside. You can’t trust they will always come back because many times they won’t. Also, many are killed too soon mostly from getting hit by cars or getting eaten by other animals. Again, controversial I know, but the owners who care the most truly will keep their cats indoors because you can guarantee they won’t get fleas, weird illnesses, or get killed too soon. I’m not talking about accidents where cats get out unintentionally because that happens also.
Prepare for cat hair everywhere. Claws. Weirdness. Commitment. Additional financials. If you don’t want cat hair everywhere or a cat to potentially scratch your furniture, don’t get a cat.
