It should not be so difficult to find good pet food. All these videos and studying ingredient panels and having to call pet food companies to find out what is in their food, is ridiculous. I should be able to walk into any store that sells cat food and grab any of the brands and not have to worry that it is going to make my cats sick!

  • @_Pokeflare

Farmina by far is my favorite brand. I feed it with Origen wet foot. Due to Orijen being bought out, I haven’t been too confident in their kibble

Greetings from Portugal Dr. Rea :) I really apreciate your videos, it´s hard to get some quality on youtube about dog nutrition! Keep it up!

Love your videos. Helps to clarify so much!! I'd love to know your thoughts on Farmina Ancestral Grain line. Could you look at all the protiens? I'll watch for it! 😁

  • @pitbullmom213

My dogs did absolutely amazing on farmina, we just finally found a place to buy it locally again, they also do have grain inclusive options

  • @alejandravazquez3168

Thank you for the video, are you able to review Primal freeze dried toppers/nuggets?

  • @vitttini

Please review the lamb blueberry ancestrial grain

  • @Vish251

Nice . Nice Whats the difference between N&D ANCESTRAL GRAINS AND N&D PUMPKIN walay main for puppy

  • @jackiemetzger4243

    Thank you Dr. Rea

    Hey Doc,

  • @sarahwheeler52

Thank you for taking the time to do food review videos Dr. Rea. Your videos taught me things I didn’t know about and really helped me make the right decision on what to feed. I show and breed Miniature Pinschers. I personally chose to feed Farmina Ancestral Grain Mini, which I would love to see a review about 😊 There’s things about Farmina I think would change perspective regarding this food. They use a twin auger instead of a single one (twin is used to produce human food). They also don’t cook the food to nearly the same temp as the average kibble. Also, ethoxyquin and BHA is banned in Italy, and all produce is none GMO 😊

Hi Dr. Rea, love your videos.

  • @MollyBollyJollyJoe

Could you please do a video reviewing Inukshuk's dog food? I've heard great things but I'd like to know if it's too concentrated or too rich. At what point is the protein/fat ratio too high? Is this less of a concern for highly active dogs?

  • @Lady1nMN

Hello 👋🏿 what are your thoughts on the farmina, grain, chicken and pomegrante mini?

  • @KayJayjackson-ry4nw

You are so helpful! I'm getting a frenchie puppy (who will be 4 months) in 2 weeks. Do you think Victor Hi Pro Plus or Purina Pro Plan sensitive stomach(all stages) or Purina Pro Plan puppy would be best to feed her as she is growing ( and maybe what might be best during any future pregnancies and nursing?)

  • @kellybrosbuilds

    Great review

  • @B.RAD4bmx

Because Farmina is a European made product they follow different standards for making food for your pets. Bottom line is AAFCO standards are not as strict compared to European standards!

  • @GiannaChisholm-ie7eu

Thank you for this video! I am looking at the new tropical line, lamb spelt and oats for medium/maxi - kibble. I have been reviewing the nutrient that they provide in regards to protein, calcium and phosphorus, etc. as dry matter basis. It looks like their nutrient levels fall in line with the ranges you use. Could you review this particular line of food from Farmina? i have reached out to farmina to give me the exact percentages for a dry matter basis for confirmation as well - just waiting for their response. I am trying to decide between this food and Hills! Thank you!

  • @susievieira6362

Hi! Would you be able to do Farmina nd grain chicken for large breed puppy. Which would be the medium-max puppy food. I noticed the fat content in 20%. Is that too high? I don’t know what to do. Presently giving purina essential care vetenarian large breed dog food that has 13% fat. Just worried about fast growth. Or do you have any suggestions. Thanks for your help!!!

Are the pea stuff here that bad if most of the protein is coming from the cod?
