Lovely car. I like the appearance too, so many cars these days have tortured design details that look awful once you’ve seen them twice. The Accord is elegant, pity there’s no estate car though.
Agreed and what's with the cupholders today? With the accord euro the cupholders had a flip out divider and a storage lid so the 90% of the time you don't have cups in the car it could hold your personal items instead which was genius. Now honda makes cupholders visable for theft. It's a waste of interior storage space.
I disagree that it looks 'high end' but that's personal taste. To me it just looks anonymous and the decades old Honda Accord Euro's look more stylish and modern. Great review though.
Tung looked a little too happy wirh himself with that pun at the end 🤣 I own the current gen Civic hybrid and can attest to the buttery smoothness of the drivetrain
$65k drive away? I can't wait to see sales figures for this.... And a 1 piece rear seat? Is this the 1990s? That really limits practicality. Great review by a very entertaining reviewer.
Almost... A non-hybird ES250 is just over $62,000 before on-road costs, and the hybrid range starts from around $65,500 +ORCs (close to $74,000 drive-away depending on location, so the Accord has a slight advantage with its drive-away price but the lure of a prestige badge, and some of the additional standard features in the Lexus would make this a very close call.
@@Drivecomau yeah especially if you shop around for a second hand ES300h which is only couple years old and has done around 40k, it becomes even closer.

Is it fwd?
Yes, the Accord is only available as front-wheel drive.
At that price I can’t see them selling many.
Honda should've kept the Accird Euro

Best modern honda and they axed it, should have TLX in AU instead
@Discovery2024-rn8kn I wished we had the TLX as well....but honda australia is hopeless with understanding what customers want

Thanks for the review, what do you think of the color? What color do you prefer on the Honda Accord?

Was wanting to cross shop this with a M3. Which one should i get guys?
If you're a keen driver a BMW M3 wins over this hands down every time. If you're after a quieter, calmer commuter car, opt for the Accord.
😆
I bought a $20 Chinese heated seat, sewed it on to the seat cover. Works a treat.😅
When i saw the thumbnail, i thought it was an accord being reviewed after 20 years of ownership, long term review 😅
Car is very elegantly designed, huge improvement on taillights, dash.

watts a kiliowatt in english?
in English it’s a kilowatt … for those in far less civilised countries who are stuck in medieval times using horsepower, it’s 1.36 hp.

Blue cheese and the Honda Accord aren’t comparable at all. One is polarising the other is a generic and conservative as it comes.
I don't know why so many reviewers love the look of this generation Accord, its so dull. Its like someone took a Passat and made it even more boring.
Expensive
Toyota Camry easily beats this car.
This is one very happy car reviewer, bet he put a deposit down ?
Far better than Lexus.
Geez this is the most generic looking car I've seen in years
You got used to those psycho Korean designs
Honda: dont let the RS badge fool you. Do you like driving a white good appliance fridge on wheels? Well this is the car for you because it's slow 🐌
This is Lexus ES money
