This is the case that shows how important to have good staging in the competition. Although I loved National Final Version of the song, I have to point out, this one stands out really weak among others without that interesting staging.
Eldar Mammadbayov I disagree. He slayed the performance without the “dancers” and that is amazing. But that’s just my opinion. I still got the goosebumps 🤷🏻♀️

Well you have to recognize that this song is not for stage like this. He did what he could and I have to say it wasn't bad at all.

one of the few songs were crowd is not shouting in the background. that shows good he is.
Good voice, one of the most technically solid singers we have this year. Rasmussen is pitch perfect (with the exception of the one falsetto slip up), and has amazing stage presence. It’s clear the crowd is into this song too, for some reason. Doesn’t excuse the mess of a song, though. It honestly sounds like it was ripped from the soundtrack of a third-rate Viking musical theatre production produced by a 9th grader. I can’t get over how cheap this sounds. One of my least favourite songs of the year, and frankly the only one I skip.
