Cesar was one of the producers for Bulgaria’s song in 2016 which got in the top 10 & he was even a background singer. Last year he was Kristian’s (Bulgaria) vocal coach who almost won the Eurovision Song Contest. :)

Amen. What do the tele-voters know about music anyhow? 80% are aged 8-17 and vote a dozen times for the same contestant. On top of that there are rumors - which probably are true - about "diaspora votes", "paid shills" and "tourist votes". It's clear to anybody that these so-called "popular votes" have very little, if any, value to anybody with an interest for the musical qualities of a song. The tele-voters voted Austria #13 (!). When you see which contestants they voted ahead of Austria you really shake your head in disbelief.
The jury chose him mostly because they knew it was not a strong song to win by the audience, and they didn’t want to influence that much about the odds of Israel and Cyprus, which were the most important.. they tried to put them even as much as they can...
the same jury that put Poland last in 2016? the same jury that put Norway 18th and gave israel NO POINTS in 2019??

@@nost_xlgia2970 @nost_xlgia I just read the Eurovision Wikia because I was curious about what you said being that Eurovision is so nitpicky with rules and, it says that jurors members cannot participate 2 years in a row, they must be replaced each year.
I will quote: "Jury members shall not have been a part of a national jury in the proceeding two years. Meaning, for example, if someone served on a jury for the 2015 contest, they cannot do so for the 2016 or 2017 events." So nope, it is not the same jury that put Poland last in 2016 and put Norway 18th and gave no points to Israel in 2019 noting that this song participated in the 2018 show.
And I get what you're saying, televoting is actually very necessary, I did not mean to say it wasn't, I guess 2 years ago I was not very good with words. 🤷♂️

Literally this sounded like the winning song. It's like when you get a certain vibe from the song you know it will win for definite, but of course people love chickens more than actual talent.

One of the best songs of the 2018 contest (it´s probably the best one although I have another favorite). Songs like this are the reasons why I love Eurovision. This should be in the Top10 ranking of the final.
