Every part of DGD is so important. This video proves it.
One of the best things about Matt's drumming is the seamless transition between styles. Goes from a simple rock beat, to a heavy half-time Afro-Cuban groove, into a tasty funk-pop beat; not to mention the speed and how tight his playing is. Definitely one of my favorites.
Matt has always understood that finding the right tuning for your drums is how you distinguish yourself as a drummer. His sound is him and it's magic.
Matt Mingus is damn underrated.
What a unique style he has- the way he moves and how loose he stays, it's sort of hypnotic if you focus on the sticks.
MOST UNDERRATED ARTIST AROUND.

There is just so much damn talent in this band.
Too many drummers (myself included) make weird involuntary faces when drumming. Matt seems to smile involuntarily while drumming and its great.
Some guys I know dubbed it "the drummer face", and rightly so. I also have a buddy in a death metal band who will stick his tongue out a bit and bite on it while he drums, totally unaware he's doing it. He didn't realize until we called him out on it.

@Quill Inkwell I personally don't think he's that great. Nothing bad about him, but nothing exceptional. He fits in well in allowing the band's melodies to form without disrupting the rhythm with busy drumming. Or something

KH is my favorite game, and DGD is my favorite band. On that note, I think it would be cool if a future game included Sora dying, and Roxas becomes the main playable character alongside goofy and Donald in a mainline game and having to save Sora’s heart.

Guys I have been listening to Mingus since DBM and let me tell you as a drummer, this guy absolutely shreds every song he has been a part of. Even your least favorite DGD song has a wicked drum part to it. Him, Bonham, Larnell Lewis are my three biggest inspirations behind the kit
