The Tiny 2's superior tracking capabilities, especially the ability to track after leaving the room, seem really innovative
Hello there :)
The tracking is immense on the Tiny 2. I wasn't expecting it to track me again when I went out of the room and came back in but it was flawless.
The dynamic zoom control on the Tiny 2 sounds more versatile compared to the Insta360
It does have some good zooming options available on it :)
The markedly higher cpu utilization on the osbot is a deal breaker for me. That being said, you do gain some better functionality for it (but not enough to make it worth it to me). Hopefully they have fat to trim on their software to make it run with less impact on your pc’s performance.
Yes it does use a lot more system resources. I have just checked out the OBSBOT Tiny 2 Lite and it still uses just as much system resources running that one too.
You can get away with not using the software if you don't want to play around with the additional features that it offers, but I agree, hopefully they can bring out some future updates and make the software a little more friendly on the RAM and CPU usage.
what a superb comparison video... great, and in depth information, great review. i would be hard pushed to think which one to choose over the other, the Tiny has come such a long way, but i think insta are still ahead on this one, but only just!

The tracking on the OBSBOT is fantastic but I still prefer the crispness of the image on the Insta :)
@@Andyhhhdx oh absolutely the insta has got it. i would go for the insta over the Tiny2 especially if people want to pay that kind of money, go for the insta, just might take a little extra time to save the extra 40/50 quid that the insta costs.
@@Calvin.The.Unfindable I agree. I imagine if the Tiny 2 dropped to a lower price than the insta then it would be a much more difficult choice between to two

Hello there :) Thank you for checking out the video. It does have so many different tracking modes, I was surprised. The tracking is a really strong feature on this webcam, it's the best tracking I've seen on any webcam so far.

Which one should i go for?
Hello buddy, I hope you're well.
It depends really on what your main use for it will be.
If you're looking for a more crisp image, then I would go for the Insta360 (although you can manually adjust sharpness in the OBSBOT software).
If you're using it to track you, then the OBSBOT tracking is much better.

@@acumen1 I would probably go with the Insta360 just for the pure image sharpness out of the box. That's not to say that the OBSBOT is bad because it really isn't. You wouldn't really go wrong with either of them. They're both very good.
