You can do this over your existing countertops. Your kitchen countertops will look beautiful with Leggari Products!
The process! 👇👇
THE SUBSTRATE
Prepping the surface of the countertops is easy. Most surfaces just need sanded (80-100 Grit) then wiped clean. Granite and Marble will need the sealer removed. Tile will need the grout lines filled with Bondo and sanded smooth before applying our Countertop Kits.
EPOXY PRIMER COAT
Priming the Countertops is simple and fast. Mix your pre-measured primer then dip and roll the pigmented primer across the surface until the countertop surface is completely covered. Wait 1 hr. (or until tacky and not coming off to the touch) and start applying the Base Coat.
METALLIC EPOXY COAT
There are so many different applications for our metallic epoxy coat. In this video we show you the dirty pour technique. When you place your order you'll receive step by step tutorial videos that will show you how to apply this part depending on the look you're going for!
HIGH WEAR TOP COAT
We offer 2 different Performance Engineered Top Coats. Glaze Coat is our High Build Top Coat that lays out like glass and adds depth to the Countertop. The Urethane Top Coat comes with the option to have a High Gloss or Matte finish. It needs to be rolled out super thin and leaves a minor texture on the countertop. You apply it within 24 hrs. of installing your Countertop Kit
Leggari Countertop Kits were designed to transform your countertop, tabletop, or desktop into something new and beautiful by coating your existing countertop or pre-built wood countertop. They can be installed in 3 to 5 hrs. including the prep work, and will last for decades. If you can paint your countertops, you’re more than qualified to install a Leggari Countertop Kit. Our Countertop system is leading the resin industry for thickness, durability, and scratch resistance with our High Wear Top Coats.
Our Countertop Epoxy is specifically designed for counters and can be applied to any hard surface. It’s 100% Pure Solids using the finest raw materials that include proprietary additives for working time, thickness, flow and marbleization that are vital when achieving our Dynamic Effects. Our Countertop Epoxy is also a decorative, durable and chemically resistant coating, available with a High Gloss or Matte finish.

Outstanding job. At first I didn't like the darker colors but this is excellent in this white kitchen.
Beautiful. Clear explanations. Hate the music. Nothing wrong with silence in-between the narration.
This dude is my guy. Seems like I've watched him in a million videos. Lol. I love every one I watch too. I'm becoming a student. No lie.
Thanks Antonio for watching the videos. Stay tuned there is more to come.
Wow, I can mess up pouring a coffee ☕🙃 ! Never mind a kitchen, but you make it look so easy! I understand that's experience and a fair bit of skill of course! Great video, nice and clear steps, great insight!

This is really stunning! A gorgeous treatment that the average person can do.
Absolutely Gorgeous! Damn, can you do mine? I’ll pay ya! You’re one heck of a Teacher as well you explain it all so well! I’ve looked at others and they didn’t explain anything as clear as you did! These counters tops need to be framed! Beautiful! 🙌🏾👍🏾
NOTE THE IMPORTANCE OF WRAPPING YOUR COUNTER CUPBOARDS IN PLASTIC..DRIPS WILL HAPPEN DRIPS HAPPEN...SHOULD BE A TEE SHIRT!! lol. Love u guys gorgeous work as always. Love the no need for blow torch ..
Thanks Tamara for the wonderful comment and for watching our videos
This is definitely one of my favorites.
You're such an artist !!!!Excellent work !!
Outstanding work guys to produce an outstanding finish, I've watched 3 of your videos and the end results are all beautiful. While you pitch the video as a tutorial for others to follow, I can see an awful lot of skill and expertise that you have built up which make it look so effortless - for instance knowing when to add more product to fill a void and knowing when to leave well alone and let the product find its own level and fill the void in the process. Keep up the great work guys.
Richard, thanks for the comment and for watching our videos.

This is the kind of project that unless you've done it two or three times, it ain't gonna go too well .
jus4funtim You could be correct sir. That’s why I’ve done several sample boards and several different techniques. There’s so much you can do. Good luck with your future projects.
This is the best Instructional Video for Epoxy countertops I’ve seen!
Will it work on a Concrete Countertop?
Whats the delivery time to San Diego Ca. ?
Yes it will, and thank you for watching?
Very nice look Thanks for showing how its done
Very very good I relay like you Art work
I'm curious, how well does your epoxy hold up against cuts, scratches, and heat? If you put a hot pan on that counter will it ruin the counter? Do you have a video like that? Because most epoxy manufacturers always say well epoxy doesn't hold up well against heat....also if the counter does get scratched, is it easy to get rid of them?
I was reading the comments. It is rude as hell that they didnt respond back to you.
@@ABM261-zi2gl Honestly I am surprised I haven't gotten a reply...I'd understand if there were like 100k comments with 1k daily added...would really appreciate an answer before I order their product.
Dimitri Lazarev our $5000 counter tops on our first house would crack if we put heat on them, I would guess this is the same.
They were like a marble looking type. Can’t recall the name, but even super expensive counters can’t take the heat directly.
@@DC-bp8sx 5000$ for epoxy countertops or granite? I know in general you shouldn't put a hot pan on the counter but it happens that you have to for a quick moment, or for example hot cup of tea etc...curious how their epoxy holds up and well scratch wise too

Hi I am one of your top fans from the Caribbean Trinidad and Tobago, you never show us how to remove the tape from the wall after you do the epoxy on the counter. As I have my own painting company here in Trinidad hope we can do business in the future with products.
Gorgeous. I'm speechless, it's so beautiful. Will you please update in a year or so with how it has held up to wear?
Our products are actually industrial coating made for military aircraft hangers, etc. So theoretically in a residential, or even commercial setting it will last forever. This is NOT a cheap epoxy paint that you will commonly find at box stores like Home Depot or sherwin Williams. It is a thick 100% solids epoxy coating.
I used their products on my floor, and it has held up to the dogs, kids, and myself ( which is the real shock.) It withstood remodeling jobs and dragging a metal shelving unit across it, not that I would recommend that however. You can also add high solids floor waxes to help.
This is beatiful. i wished am enroled in your school. Thanx for elightening some of us.

Looks awesome! How hard is the counters finish? What if you cut into the top, how would you fix it?
I have been getting into these epoxy bar & countertop systems for a while now. I find that no product I have used is completely self leveling and the edges still look as if they were drips with thick and thin areas, the only way to remove those imperfection's is to wet sand from 320 to 2000 and then apply automotive paint rubbing compound to get the sheen back.
very labor intense, but it's worth the effort in the end.
Perfect
love the colors
Thank you Heidi!
it looks really nice but I don't like the white with it..imho...something warmer maybe
Beautiful work!! I love it!! Thanks for sharing!! 🌷

What if your surface is laminate with some texture? The edges look lumpy. Is there a better way to keep them smooth looking?
Epoxy is pretty soft. It will scratch and become dull over time. How do you polish it and how often?

Looking very amazing
Looks Amazing!!
Thank you!
Very impressive thanks!
When I do mine I always curve the flat ends of the countertop I think it looks a lot better,
That will get it a good look as well. Thanks for watching.
Amazing design with much greater opportunities to create. But I have one question. How can we maintain a slope of spill of water towards the sink using this epoxy technique?
Awesome
It looks amazing and easy way to recover old countertops!!! My question is about preping the surface. Did you sand it before? (It looks like) Is this also working on laminated tops?
Yes
Love their product! Absolutely amazing... however I feel he should be more careful with droplets and dragging the cardboard on the paint
This kind of remind me of my soap making 🤣🤣 its beautiful!!
Thanks Little Diva for watching the video

That's what I was thinking, too!

Loved the instruction and the incredible results! Hated the whooshing sounds and the fast-moving camera shots and the irritating music. I finally turned the sound off when the music started up. Unfortunately, I couldn't prepare for the camera's dizzying moves. BUT truly the guy doing the work was a great teacher and artist. Seeing it happen along with his teaching was so helpful. It makes me think maybe even I could learn how and give it a try. I saved the video so I can see it step by step any time I want to.
They are turning down the volume of the music and using better camera work now. Thanks for watching the video

This freaking amazing and I could totally do this! If I can get my husband to help with the color mixing. I am pumped! I just have a few other projects to do first and I want to tackle this in the spring!
I don’t want these colors though for my house. I’m assuming there are other colors?
We have over 20 different metallic colors. Take a look at our brochure and in the back is our color chart.

Leggari Products Awesome! Thank you! I will take a look. Right now I am painting, we just had our floors installed and I’m also working on redoing some furniture but I will get to this eventually. I really want to do it this spring or early summer though. I showed my husband and he is on board as well! Thanks again!
Edges ! I noticed that as well. In watching the lights reflect as the camera panned the finished product, the surfaces were visibly uneven, especially where the different pour edges met. They could have hidden this by defusing the spot lighting above. This happened because the pour did not level out well enough. With vertical edges rippling, and this work being performed by experience people, should give DIYers pause. I think they should have a follow up video, because this is unacceptable. Otherwise, save the color and design choice, I thought it had promise. I wondered if they could do a thin pour clear over it all to smooth it out.
@SigneN-Formaldehyd-Planteøstrogen-Soja#1-dræ' the smaller counter to the left of the stove cut out had the textured edges as an example of what you can do, the rest of the edges were smooth.
@SigneN-Formaldehyd-Planteøstrogen-Soja#1-dræ' ok then please explain the truth.
CAn't say this kind of look is for me or feel it looks like stone, but I did think the straight primer looked quite good and with a more minimalistic touch of color think it would look great with the just a clear finish.
Seeing the way to do the edges was very informative as well
Have you ever experimented with the affects of different thicknesses of epoxy? Using fumed silica or other thickening agents?
Using a “dry pack” concrete to create veins of different colors and different rock mixes have created some awesome effects for concrete and polished concrete coffee tables and bar tops.
I am from Austria. Thank you for this super Video.
You're welcome and thank you for watching the video
GREAT JOB 😊😊😊😊😊 I LIVE IN BALTIMORE HOW DO I FIND SOMEONE HERE WHO CAN DO THIS ........I LOVE IT 😍😍😍😍😍
You can email leggari@gmail.com and they can assist you with an installer in your area.
Regarding "chemically resistant coating"... What are the damaging chemicals/products that we'd want to steer clear of in order to protect the new surface?
You want to clean the surface with organic natural all purpose cleaners, no heavy chemicals like bleach, ammonia etc.
@@LeggariProducts Thank you for the quick response! So, regarding acidic foods such as lemons... clean it up quickly?
If you did a black garge floor can you dirty pour vanes onto it and it will level into the black base without having to flood the floor with colors like this video?
Yes! Here's a video for reference: ruclips.net/video/BPGEYtvUsiY/видео.html
How does this surface hold up to every day kitchen wear and tear, such as knife cuts, etc? Will it hold up if, say, a teenager decides to forego the use of a cutting board?
I did an experimental epoxy countertop wit a much thinner layer atop old linoleum and it was great. Scratches can be buffed out if needed. Many people do a wax too but don't know if this type does.
How about heat? Will it withstand a hoy iron pan coming out of the stove?
@@pcbtl1 think of this counter top as a thickly glassed surfboard--epoxy boards are lightweight and strong (better than regular resin) but can crack and be damaged with impacts, so common sense as to a hot pan...never tried it but would think it may make a burn mark. Any counter top would be marred.
Hello Tyler. I heard you mention doing the back splash first. What if the back splash is prefabbed to the countertops? What’s there to keep the material in place to keep it from sagging?
email customerservice@leggari.com and they will walk you threw the process!
@@LeggariProducts Thank you.
Beautiful
Is coating a back splash possible without cutting it out, or is it better to just cut the back splash out, repair the drywall and caulk the edge?
When doing a dirty pour you want to cut the backsplash off but on the regular epoxy kits you can coat. below is a video.

Good morning I'm Brazilian and I follow your channel would not be able to apply subtitles in your videos?
I have wood edges on the front of my counter tops, can I just leave those and just prime them with the formica?
Excellent video!!
Hi, take a look at our online brochure. Thanks

Looks outstanding! Is it the paint that gives salty effect that I think I have often seen in marble? What if I just wanted only the wet look without those "crystaline" looking areas/ Is that effect becasue of the alcohol spray? What if I wanted to suspend the look that is created when the alcohol is first sprayed? Personally, that gave more depth and amazing texture when the alcohol was wet, but in any event, your product looks great. Gret job. Also, is there any danger to suing epoxy on food prep areas? Obviously we shouldn't eat epoxy, but is there any possibility of contaminating food or our skin? Thank you for all good info.
Hon Estman the sheet of glass look is easy to get by applying a clear coat over the top. Either saving some of the part a and b from the kit or ordering more from them.
Not sure what you are talking about with the crystalline look. IPA simply shifts the colored material and allows minor separation of the pigment by quickly evaporating while also momentarily thinning the product.
Hon Estman some epoxies will create that texture duo to a combination of mildly repelling each other. May be possible to create the added dimension you are looking for by using fillers to thicken some of the mixes. Hear normally helps the product flow easier but it also accelerates the set time. Not sure if there is a way to use that to stop the self leveling.
