@@stitchdablue Hey! I enjoyed your Quadruple Threat video. Crazy how so many things showed up in 1 mission. There is actually a dedicated speedrunning discord channel as well if you're interested: discord.gg/hv7WZ5Wg
I found a Salvage speedrun strat and I don’t know who to share it with. You’re able to skip the whole waiting section entirely if you do it right, I was just able to do it before the timer ended in a pub lobby. Essentially, you call the mule back and stand on the deposit point on the side where the mule goes in. When the mule goes in, you can clip into the pod by just standing there and letting the mule mechanism push you in. I have also been able to hit regular jumping clips on those in bad network environments. I mean literally just jumping on it let me in once or twice. That’s actually what I was trying to do while I hit the other clip, so you may also have to jump Hopefully this works. I think it’d be an insta world record in the salvage category if you can hit it since you’d literally be shaving minutes off
Honestly I haven't tried. I don't know enough people that play DRG so I've only really played duo or trio. The scaling is a lot different for 4 players, so the enemy resistance is much higher. I think it might be more difficult with 4 players, but it's all mission dependent. On-site Refining, for example, would be a lot more efficient and faster with 4 players opposed to 2.
Would it be possible to one-cycle a haz 2 glyphid dread with 4 players by freezing it? Then it might be worth it. Also with 4 scouts and jumbo +cryo nades freezing could be quicker.
@@Marian_DRG In my experience, that wouldn't be possible on the classic dread. You need to do massive damage in one hit. Once you pass a certain damage threshold the armor will regenerate; this can even happen in-between jumbo shells shots if the first one does sufficient damage. The only way I've found to one-cycle the classic dread is to utilize embedded detonators and the born ready perk. You can stack multiple clips of embedded detonators and then detonate them all at once to instantly kill the dread. However, I've found it easier and faster (on lower haz levels) to just use cryo + jumbo shells a few times. Your idea would probably work for the Twins, however. You can get multiple shots on a frozen target before it burrows back into the ground.
Fair enough. Then the difference is probably quite small considering the increase in health for multiplayer scaling. If it were possible to get multiple twins in a row it would matter more.

@@benicopter RUclips seems to like that one haha. Means heaps that you saw it! A discord, awesome! I'm sold!
2:55 "I didn't even notice when one of the twins died"
YEAH ME NEITHER, I BLINKED
2:33 "LAND FASTER!" Love it. Congrats you two!! And I still love that you're taking care of the baby as you're able.
Oh yeah! The baby has been so much work but she’s finally starting to smile more and more each day. Makes all the sleepless nights worth it 😃
It's always surprising to see how much damage jumbo shells can do.

Wait, so it allows you to skip the uplink and refuel stages??
Would this be faster with 4 player? I'm guessing so but getting 4 people to do speedruns together sounds annoying.

I forget that sometimes..I still feel like a kid 😆
