LOL. Gosh, I love that pink colorway. Loved it during the experimental and am so headed for using it as soon as I can, too. Love that you got the clip in at the end of the first stage. Loved the two IFGs on the Twins at the start of that fight. Also had two other folks doing 7x2 runs on the dives that were also complaining deeply about the different generation between runs, that's an interesting twist to running dives, now, has that been more of a thing? Those splits on Magma is always a pain. I hadn't seen the tiny pumps before! Cool. Loved how snoop got down to you on the way, it's always fun seeing when you guys have planned the route. Cardio for the win! xD Neat to see that constant maintenance does make it much faster. lol... I was thinking that the boots were going to make the clip in harder, and then you said it. 🙂 That last stage was so clean... it is nice when the problems are on the first stage instead of the last. And that clip was beautiful. lol So fun to see you guys back at it.
Thank you! The generation is usually limited to enemy spawn pool. We would occasionally get a breeder and stalker on the 1st stage which would be an immediate reset, just due to the extra time needed to deal with them. You'll have to join us in some missions soon! It's been too long :)
@@benicopter Yeah! I see. That would make a lot of sense on why the resets. They were actually talking about cave generation problems, but they also were mixing in modded difficulty with the deep dives, so probably just a them problem. It has been a while! I'd love to, when our schedules line up. I should be home for a good chunk of the summer, but am traveling a lot more when other folks aren't. *laughs* I'm grateful to be able to play at all these days.

It does a lot of up close damage, however, at the time of this video it was apparently bugged and doing half-damage. Based on the recent patch notes: "- [Scorching Tide OC] Damage is now back to normal after being cut in half after double damage bugfix."
super fun watch :D I need to try using berserker to mine more, it seems like it would be really good on deep scans... How do you carry so much speed on the ground? It feels like even when you're just running you go a lot faster than I do normally haha
great run. A small FYI: Try not to overlap IFGs, if possible, cause if a bug is in two at once and then walks out of one the other one stops working for that bug as well.
Oh really? Interesting - thank you. We were having issues with the Hiveguard not one-cycling when I was only using one IFG so I started throwing two and it was more consistent
Driller was using the Scorching Tide OC, which does a lot of damage up close (however the recent patch notes show it was bugged at the time of this video and doing half damage). For the twins, he used the flame blast twice and pummeled the twins with axes. I used an IFG and Marked For Death which both increase the damage taken drastically. I also hit one of them with the trifork boltshark which does a lot of damage. For the Hiveguard, we again used an IFG and Marked For Death. We got the damage bar down to the ‘G’ in Hiveguard (if you go beyond this it will lock up and call the sentinels again) and called a resupply. A resupply does 1000 damage, but when in the IFG and MFD it does enough to instantly kill it. Hope this answers your question!
@@atofrank8431its a new overclock for scout that makes your charged shot do nearly no damage but marks enemies. the marked enemies take significantly more damage .

It’s FOV being maxed out
Are you using the speed boost perk on the grapple gun? Whenever I land I get a couple second speed boost

Fair enough. My experience isn't in speedrunning but in modded teamplay and there it is very important at times.

How do you get your charged pickaxe up so fast?
I use the active perk "Berserker" which gives you rapid power attach recharge for like 10 seconds.
