awesome video! very helpful, Im trying to get info for swapping my L86 6.2 into my 1998 chevy c1500 2wd but cant seem to find much for forums on the situation, any differences for the l86 to fit a 1998 2wd?
Not that I know of, wiring will be a little different from 88-94 and 95+ but mostly everything else should be same but if you run into any issues message me on instagram and I can try my best to help
@@rtrottier14 haven’t done cruise or ac yet, although for the ac I’ll run a factory l84 compressor and it will work that way and the harness is a psi harness you have to spec it out for anything you do or don’t want.

There’s going to be quite a few differences. Motor mounts are different but ICT Billet still makes some for the ls. Want need the power steering stuff I do because ls already have it. Different fuel system, and few more things
@@victorgrimaldo2983 most the time it charges at 13.4 it will randomly drop to 11.7 but I turn off the car wait to minutes turn it back on it’s back up it’s weird
Easy cheap way is you can just disable it with hp tuners (which I did that for the first 2k miles of the swap then I did a cam and did the better way which is cam, dod plugs, and new non dod liftersz

Do you remember the ID size to upper and lower coolant tank hoses?
Any fitment issues with those headers? I've got a lt swapped k1500 and I thought about using those
The passenger side sits the frame rail a little so you have to dent up the header a little or grind down the frame

How much was the Unlock for HP tuners?
If I remember right it was $200. It took 4 credits but it all depends on the year I think the 2014-2016 lt are just 2 credits like the ls are

Yes I did

Speed engineering long tube headers for lt c10 swap
What did you do for power steering lines?
I used a c6 vette pump and my buddy made me a reservoir. Using all -6an lines
Do you move the water pump ?
I did not move the water pump
Did you use the stock battery or upgrade
Just the factory battery
Did you leave the dod and afm or did it get deleted
I disabled it in the tune for now but I did just order a cam and dod afm delete kit.

Noob question but how’d you get around the afm dod? Considering doing a gen 3 swap over the gen 5 because of it.
