Her other pokemon aren't really anthing else relevant but she can apparently have latios, latias, or cresselia sometimes, so make of that what you will. Anyway...great shiny hunting video! It's nice to see more than just a reaction to the shiny itself!

Her being adamant and hates to lose is so perfect and fitting. Since characteristics are based on the Pokémon’s highest IV, I believe her highest one is attack.

I remember when I just learned that you could shiny hunt in this forest and I just left her so I didn't get the double encounters. Also I have zero ideas about pokemon stats so I didn't see the issue with using bubble beam on Chansey until you explained it.
My first shiny ever in platinum was Buneary in Eterna forest with Cheryl this year. Did it for a blackout bingo event. Platinum is my all time favorite Pokémon game and I really need to start shiny hunting more in ds games.
My first shiny is Buneary on my OG Diamond cartridge. Back in the days, I didn't know what a Shiny😅 It wasn't a double battle. I already beat the game. I just walk in the grass and encounter the Buneary good times😌

The main reason I have to disagree with the Cheryl idea is mostly because she wants the player to guide her through the forest. Otherwise, she could fit very well as a nervous dryad, wanting the player to beat the evil forces within the forest. Personally, I think Monferno would have been a slightly better choice. It gets 100% accurate STAB fighting type physical attacks. Anyways, that's some very scenic pokemon gameplay.
This vlog/shiny hunting format is really cool! I enjoyed it really well. It's so relaxing Edit : i think i would also enjoy maybe nuzlocke runs, or other runs in a vlog format like this ^^

I too am having struggles with a buneary hunt, on and off for two years and no shiny, recently being going at it again and no luck, most of my encounters now are on 40 minute long bus rides to and from school because I have nothing else to do Already found 3 shinies, 1 silcoon, and 2 budew, and those were found before I picked the hunt back up again a month ago, holding out I’ll get it soon but it drives me up the wall sometimes Debating on the name either Biscuit or Insulation for them when I find the creature
