This is an awesome video! It is easy to hear and follow! I look forward to seeing more from Fons & Porter. Just so you know, the "tail end of the arrow" is called "fletching."
I just bought the Target Practice pattern; however, the Free Flight pattern (scrap solutions) is apparently no longer available. Can you tell me the width of the "logs" you are adding to those squares? They appear to be 2 1/2 ?" Thank you.
The magazine is available first www.shopfonsandporter.com/product/quilting-quickly-july-august-2017/new-arrivals Then the individual patterns will be available. The magazine is actually the better value - cost per pattern is really worth the purchase.
The magazine is available in Digital form here - it's on the cover :) www.shopfonsandporter.com/product/quilting-quickly-july-august-2017-digital-issue/magazine-issues

What a clever use of the scraps...You could make 2 different quilts at once!!
You are terrific-working quickly and talking us through so perfectly. Your voice is so gentle and knowledgeable. Please continue teaching us.

Le lien ne marche toujours pas, dommage
Why not use the binding tool for cutting the pieces and then sewing together as in a French Braid and then cut to size and add side triangles?
That would be another way to create the blocks. Isn't quilting amazing - lots of ways to make each design!
at is one of the great attraction about quilting for me.....like Science there is never an end to learning.
onward to our next great creation:)

Bandana quilt
Very nice quilt, but it would have been very nice to have the cutting dimensions!
It looks like she is starting with a 5-inch square. The "Magic corner" square she is making the triangles out of is a 6-1/2" square.
Thank you!
Do you think it's 5"?? I thought maybe 4.5" then the strips were cut at 4.5, 6.5 and 8.5.
HI Colleen. I don't mean to be personal but is your health ok? I noticed your words slurred a little. That can indicate some health issues.
I'm fine. Sorry to worry you. happy quilting!
