    I was taught to look out for PETMAC, but told we would cover it another day.... and then we never did.

    I assume you use the term esophageal perforations in lieu of esophageal varices?
    That’s what our instructor always called the eroded, exposed area covering vessels in the alcoholics esophagus that are infamous for rupturing?

      from Cleveland Clinic: "An esophageal variceal rupture is a rupture of swollen veins in your esophagus. It might bleed a lot, but it isn't a rupture of your esophagus itself."
