When I started trucking I bought a manual transmission car an taught myself how to drive it. Which helped me drive my first truck which was an International cab over while everyone else wanted a nose in front of me. A drove a piece equipment that they were getting rid of. I had the time of my life driving a cab over.

Orwell sounds much happier since that fuel system issue was fixed. Also i think it's time you have chris change orwell's wiper blades the one in the middle was looking like it was starting to fray a bit. Honestly if you can some rain x wiper blades that fit orwell i highly recommend it. same with treating the windshield with rain x. just an idea. hopefully chris can eventually get your gauges on orwells dash working again soon. also i don't know if it's the gauge or what but your volts looked a bit low. you were only showing like 12 volts barely 13 volts with orwell running might wanna have chris check the alternator on orwell i would hate for you steve to break down in the middle of nowhere.

Hey Steve, I was listening to your comments about driving automatic trucks and I drove a cab over for 18 years of bridge driven in Japan. I’ve driven in Sweden. I’ve driven all over the world but unfortunately I have to drive automatic now because I lost my leg so my left leg that is and so it’s hard for me to push down the clutch anyway just thought I’d mention that not negatively and the other thing is watching you drill those holes I don’t wanna be negative either but maybe use a little oil when you drilling those thick pieces of metal you wouldn’t burn out so many drills but anyway just saying, hope you’re doing well anyway and I love watching your stuff!

You should be able to eliminate almost all play in the steering. Most steering boxes have adjustment for the play and if you have good steering joints and king pins there isn't any reason it can't be as goog as a brand new truck.

Reminds me of one car show. There were three people in an 1966 P5B Rover car. Husband and Wife and his mechanic. The mechanic was incase anything broke! There were some interesting discussions at the border. He was only going to work on the owner's car, if something went wrong, not for hire on anyone else's Rover. If you can work on a Rover car, then when you go to a Rover car show you end up having to work on someone's Rover so they can drive home again!

Hey, Steve, how's Going so I do agree with Chris on this. I like working outside with my hands. I like getting dirty, but I do have to wear safety equipment like you're hearing protection gloves in safety vests and stuto boats so I agree that when I'm screwing anymore. About Steve Edwards's dogs a command people like seriously we do things the right way.

Love Ya givin Love to Sketchy haterz…..sooooo, I’ve always used circular signals on which way I want the loader to steer. Old Military habits, that way there’s no confusion as to which way. Keep it FSC!!

It is not possible to light a torch or even a puddle of gasoline with a lit cigarette. It's nowhere near hot enough. Reverse the two, and that is probably how he lit the cigarette.

I have never learned how to drive a manual transmission not that I can’t. In my diesel technology mechanic classes I have learned that you must double clutch in third gear and I have learned how to couple and uncouple a trailer. 🙂

No real trucker "double clutches." If you can't float em, I can't teach the rest.

The work shirt's looks good. Jesse likes tshirts's better. But he will wear a dress shirt for church. He always wear long sleeves only at church. Cause people will ask him who are the portrait tattoo' sleeves on both of his arm's. One side is out late best friend's that Jesse served with in the army. Other arm is his late grandparents and his dad and his late Aunt Maggie. Jesse does the same thing Chris is doing cutting metal up. We have the exact same tie downs in the Hotshot Trailer's like your's and even the car hauler's. Cause they are easy to use strapping down vehicle's. Jesse uses safety glasses like your's and even uses a bandana around his mouth. Or uses a face shield for cutting stuff up. When I started driving Jesse had mechanics fix the slagging in the linkage and replaced everything and it turns excellent. Jesse showed me the basics on how he chain's down load's. And even strap's time down. We like chaining down load's cause strap's they get loose easy. I watched him doing it one time. And I been doing it ever since. I bet the tight spots that he can reach or climb under. We have never ever seen sweeper's like that before.

You wouldn’t want to run an old auto trans anyway, I run an Eaton 10 every day but in the future I want to run them all… btw you drive my dream truck… btw how good would it have been if the trailer to this load to have been pulled by a k100, that would have been picture worthy
