In my honest opinion to the worst but cannot deny the success and vibes they have given in the past. Still an admirer of Carmine & Matteo but their music has now evolved to a point I dont understand it at all. 2011-2016/7 was something else a DIFFERENT LEVEL !!!
If your have listened to the songs enough on their own, especially the ones that they produced, you can tell they are not doing a godamn thing while they are playing, they sound exactly the same, their is no live variation taking place, maybe we are asking to much, it sounds dope, but watching it like you would watch of a live concert and expecting to see a live performance is kind of absurd. i enjoy the scene very much, but it is simultaneously ecstatic and empty.
Just depends on what u expect right? If it's a DJ set, you just wanna dance and a good track selection can be enough for that purpose. I personally prefer a good track selection well mixed, over some live performance that musically is inferior although it's "live". On all big festivals producers are favoured over DJs, but that's not always a good thing.

Too many Producers feel they need to become Djs in order be able to perform live, they should concentrate on making great music and link up with Djs and session musicians in order to bring their music to life in a performance setting, we as artistic people each have our own Positives and Negatives and only once we connect can we fully move the scene forward.

This is by far the greatest mix. It s purely amazing. I HAVE NO WORDS. I just listen to it at home when I wake up, in the car, and at night, lighting up a dodo.

totally agree, I grew up watching carl cox mixing three decks vinyl , with the crowds going fucking nuts, lol. fuugu the fact you mentioned carl craig shows a 4 to the floor mindset. Much easier beat mixing 4 to the floor then ambient minimal tech house. 4 to the floor is straight forward while minimal has undertones that is nice to have an amigo along for the ride.
these guys have to go back to the essence of groove, the beats are straight out of a stupid sequencer and nothing is alive, nothing better than the old school way with some real drum machines and keys..keep it old school, don't get caught into this boring stuff, seriously.

totally agree, I grew up watching carl cox mixing three decks vinyl , with the crowds going fucking nuts, lol. I think this here is a sorta pretensious anal approach , I m quite sure you could mix these track as they were the pressed an get the the same vibe from the crowd, maybe more hyped up,.. the musics nice though but it wouldn't be in my bag or harddrive,
when you produce music as good as these two dudes no one gives a shit about how they dj...actually no one gives a shit about the gear you use to perform as long as you make a great party...which is something vinyl purists will always whine and bitch about.

fuugu the fact you mentioned carl craig shows a 4 to the floor mindset. Much easier beat mixing 4 to the floor then ambient minimal tech house. 4 to the floor is straight forward while minimal has undertones that is nice to have an amigo along for the ride.
