Although i agree with you, music evolves wether we like it or not. I dont enjoy the afterlife sound any more, but i do enjoy going back to these sets and the old discography of afterlife. I think this sound would not have the same effect if they kept pushing it for a decade. But if you look elsewhere you can find the sound still. Just not tied to the afterlife label. Their gta soundtrack was something special also

There are still some artists that developed a similar style, but evolved the sound. Check KaterUnser, VNTM or Kas:st for example
