Can you tell if a two buttons stone island badge is fake if it's smaller than other badges?

The certi logo system is not foolproof. I scanned a thin knit recently which was bought from zee & co which came back as authentic but the label clearly had the straight L , the art number correctly identified the piece as 2019 knitwear 🤷‍♂️

Knitwear pieces have a straight L, only pieces where it happen. Im pretty sure Mat's island mentions it in a video.

Your wrong on green edged badges some do have white stitching I’ve been a buyer of SI since 1993 and I’ve still got most stuff from 90s the later green edged badges 98/99 had white on the back 100% fact

Interesting - was that something you’ve seen often on rarely? Maybe different stitching techniques from time to time in the early days?

@@TrussArchive yes I have green edged jackets from 80s there different from 90s and 90s some had white through the back most had black but I can assure you I always bought jackets shirts jumpers from reputable stores and flagship store BEAK ST at the time now BREWER ST so I know for a fact just because of white thread on the back is in no way any shape or form means it’s fake I was the very first one to say about the drop stitch at the button holes and then everyone started on about it that’s another fact at one time I had the biggest collection but I’ve sold international and here in uk CP COMPANY AND SI now I see a lot of younger generation but collect much more than me MATTSISLAND is just one of many that saw a nish in the market I was doing it before Matt was even born not dissing him I think the lad is great but there’s to many so called experts saying about how to tell fakes and a lot are wrong anyway just saying 😂👍🏼

@@TrussArchive I had hundreds most in my mothers place in Scotland which I think now my nephews are all pilfering a few pieces in London in my flat and I’ve a few pieces here with me in wales while Iam working here.
The amount I’ve sold you could fill a shop all 10/10 condition and well looked after sold to guys in Australia 🇦🇺 Russia 🇷🇺 Northern Ireland Indonesia 🇮🇩 Switzerland 🇨🇭 Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 the list goes on it’s been crazy because some jackets I sold 15 to 18 years ago are still popping up and I know straight away that’s one of mine
