At around 8:10 is what I came for... Breitenbush Rd. When I visited my mother (whom has passed) who lived in Silverton (just NE of Salem), I would drive all the way here to fish Breitenbush creek. I far prefer walking along a winding creek to fish, rather than boat or shore fishing a lake. Looks like you hit a gate and that area was still closed. Wonder if it is today, still. That area was so beautiful. My heart fell when I was aware of the fire at the time. All Oregonians are just such simple and down-to-earth people. None deserved this. Everything that was along my drive there is decimated, including historic Mill City. If I had anywhere near the means to, I'd pack everything I own and move to Detroit - to help rebuild, and to create a life to live out there. I just wouldn't know where to start. Thank you for uploading this. It's deeply saddening, but it's real life.
